    AKAI model# LCT42Z5TAP screen going R G B and white

    hi all ,
I am repairing this akai lcd that came in with no power .
I replaced some 220mf caps on the main board and got it
    to power up.
Now its just comes on with a red screen and it goes blue then green and then .
white . and repeats that cycle over and over.

anyone knows what causes this problem?
    thanks

have a sony KDL-46S4100 with exact same problem, saw where a few people fixed with another a board, didn't seem to work for me, unless I got 2 bad ones.

well i cant even find the info to fatory reset the thing .
seem unusual , but i downloaded the service manual . so will try
fixing it without replacing any boards.
