    slide 96

the only combinations involving SC20 removed staying on which is the same as removing A20 are:

    A20,A32 - TV stays on

    A20,A31,A32 - TV stays on

A31,A32 feed to the C boards

      Re: Panasonic TCP-42S2 6blink

tw 2005 I ran the test u mention with all cables hook up and remove C10 connector and sc20 and I did get 8blinks .

also I checked the voltages on the blue caps on C 633 I get 51 volts, facing the caps on right leg same for C 632 no power on the left leg ,
On C413 the smaller blue cap I have 205 volts on the left leg and no power on the right leg .

All these voltage are measured when power up and before going to the 6 blink.

All the transistors and diodes i got from outsource and found some of the parts were defective right out of the shipment .some diode were dead no reading .

Also I have check the voltage on SC board

      TP 82= 15.2 V
      TP 99 = 0 V
      TP 46 =0.11 V
      TP 101= 0 V
      TP 102 = 4.95 V
      TP 3 = .30 V
      TP SOS = 4.23V

If there is any thing comes to mind for me to look up just give me a shout ,I may look into getting another Sc board ,Just may. Thanks for help

If TP SOS6 4.23V(I assume since you have neither 6 or 7 labelled) then the SC is faulted. On initial start up it goes high momentarily then low, if staying high then it's faulted.

Which parts were faulted from UT ? I have not had any dramas yet, touch wood.

If you only get 53V on the bank of blue caps, that's bad. The ER circuit isn't charging them up. You can check the SS board for a comparison of what the voltage should be.

Ok guys I finally got this tv going I bought a used SC board on line , the board was supposed to be a for parts or repair , After the board arrived I started to check out all the fets and diodes ,they all checked out good, put the board in and start it up , it started right up and been running for the last three days.

Here are some test results from checking the transistors and fets :-
+ indicates red lead on multitester
_ indicates black lead on multitester

those results from working or not working board? Q601 you have at 2 and bit ohms?

                    PS5 HDMI port diode reading?
                    by SuperAman
I did an hdmi port repair for a PS5 and I lost the small diode z71 SOD923 on the back of the port. I did a trace repair for pin 19 of the port as well. Without the diode I get no display at all. I tried replacing the diode twice but after I get flux on it the marking comes off so I can't tell if I have it on the right orientation. When I measure I get a reading of 1(open) and 923 in diode mode. Is 923 a normal reading for these and also which side should the reading be with regards to the arrow on the board?...

                    A2141 PP3v3_G3H_RTC_X Diode Reading .104V Voltage 3.39V
                    by abajor
Have an A2141 which is reading about 5.2V 0.07A on all USB jacks, started doing the measurements.

                    PPBUS_3GH diode: measures good .45V
PPBUS_3GH Voltage: maybe not so good 12.25V maybe bad T2? Unit did not come up in DFU on configurator.

                    The weird so far is
                    PP3v3_G3H_RTC_X diode: .104V (WTF?)
                    PP3v3_G3H_RTC_X voltage: 3.39V (Normal)

Stopped there attempted reverse voltage injection at PP3v3_G3H_RTC_X with 1V. Instead of the circuit sinking any current, My PSU suddenly reads 3.4V with no current draw.
Not sure what any of this means...

                    A2681 Keyboard, trackpad and sleep?!
                    by iMuhtaseb
Wow it's been a while since I posted!

This is a weird case, it has a history of liquid spill a year ago but customer did not want to replace neither trackpad or keyboard.. fast forward for today:

A2681 turns on but not trackpad or keyboard feedback (or external keyboard and mouse) and then after a minute or so the Mac sleeps..

It's a NOT a sleep sensor or trackpad or keyboard or daughterboard or anything else (I replaced all those); it's the logic board..

Tested another locked logic board on customer's top case and it posted with keyboard and...

                    820-01700 PPVCC_S0_CPU normal resistance to ground/diode reading?
                    by karoliens
I am working on this board that has some water damage though not around this rail but I measured it anyway to rule out that CPU is not fried.
Resistance to ground on PPVCC_S0_CPU rail is 2Ohm and in diode mode it shows 0V.
What is the normal reading on that rail?
                    TIA

Help repair Panasonic fridge not cooling
                    by mikey5791
                    Hi all forum members,

Few days ago, i might have forgotten to close my home fridge freezer door completely. The next day, the ice cubes and frozen meat almost melted halfway and the freezer doesn't feel cool. I shut it off, wipe dry and let it air dry for one whole day. The next day i switched on the fridge, the compressor run for a second and it shuts off(no vibration and no sound at all) only the internal freezer compartment fan is running but is not cooling even i switched on a full day.
After shut off, i dismantle the rear water pan holder and reached to the compressor wiring....
