Picked this up today for something to do and did a quick check of it. It does have 5 volt stby. Can't find much about this low end TV and wondering where I could find a schematic on the boards. I checked caps, diodes, etc. but have not gone thru the small smd parts. Thanks

The white connector on the right side of the power supply/inverter board has labels for each pin. What are the DC Voltage readings of each pin when the TV is OFF and when the TV is ON. Please list the readings with the name of each pin next to the readings.Never stop learning

Re: insignia ns-321430a11 dead no led no nuttin
OK, the main board is getting the 5V STANDBY Voltage to run but it is not sending the PWR (PS_ON) to turn on the rest of the power supply, it is also not sending the BO (BL_ON (Backlights On)) either, so the main board is not working.
You can try disconnecting the cable between the main board and the T-CON board to see if it will make any difference, if not, then you should do visual inspection of the both side of the main board to see if it has any damaged parts.
I wonder if it was damaged by surges or lighting.
Also check shopjimmy to see how much the replacement will be, to do component level repair I hope you will have all the tools for SMD repair.Never stop learning

Re: insignia ns-321430a11 dead no led no nuttin
Really appreciate the help. I had come to the conclusion it had to be the main but needed an educated opinion. Have tried all I know that is why I would like a schematic but, that's life. I have done some smd work like an eeprom on a vizio but with my tools it is aggravating, but can be done. I am going to try and figure this out if possible. Just fiddling around, I found an area on the main with an infrared thermometer that was 153 degrees while everyting else was was 61 degress being out in the garage with a small gas heater. tried spray and cooled it but nothing. Anyway, thanks so much.

Well, still messin with this main board. Too stubborn to give up yet. Just posting again to see if anyone can direct me to a schematic on main board. Thought I had found the problem with a voltage regulator # LD1117a/G33ANH. Had 5V going in and 1.8v coming out and had in my head it should be 3.3v, but just guessing. Had an old board I had and found a #AS1117L-33/B0548 that had same specs I thought and replaced it and still get 1.8V. Anyway, will probably end up getting other board but thought I would post one more time for schematic. Thanks

Is the suspect regulator getting particularly warm or hot? Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!

It is not getting hot. But there is an area in between c77 and c130 just on the board that is 187 degrees f. The regulator is only 100.7. Will include pic. Don't look at my crappy soldering on regulator. At least this blind 64 year old got it on there. Hope the pic will show.
