I have a faulty Philips TV model no. 32PFL5606S/98.The symtom is
it will automatic shutdown awhile(1-3 min) after power on. I
suspect that my fluctuating power ac power source cause the
damage to my tv at that time.
I have a good electronic technical skill but its my first time to
troubleshoot on TV psu.I already started checking the tv psu for
any faulty parts or short circuit but only observed that IC9301
(TOP264VG) is mildly hot.Not yet replace any parts at this time.
I will be glad if someone in the forum can help me on the
following.
1.How can i power on psu to enable dc outputs without connecting
to the TV unit?
2.I would be glad if someone will give advise on how to start to
troubleshoot this PSU isolated from the tv unit.Any advise on
testpoints voltages etc.
