Hi

I have a faulty Philips TV model no. 32PFL5606S/98.The symtom is

it will automatic shutdown awhile(1-3 min) after power on. I

suspect that my fluctuating power ac power source cause the

damage to my tv at that time.

I have a good electronic technical skill but its my first time to

troubleshoot on TV psu.I already started checking the tv psu for

any faulty parts or short circuit but only observed that IC9301

(TOP264VG) is mildly hot.Not yet replace any parts at this time....

Call me Casey 39yrs old, Ive been a repair technician of Desktop Motherboards before for 4 years. I am currently an associate engineer in a Harddisk company doing assembly and repair work on our products. But the best part of it is repairing good as new 17" pc monitor(viewsonic and philips brand) salvage from the junk that my company throw away occasionally.Fault parts are mainly bad caps and broken backlight.
