I need help trouble shooting a Vizio LED xvt553sv. The backlight when plugged in is amber then white. When you push power button the screen is blue/black with no audio. I have a little knowledge of electronics but not much. I also have a digital multimeter. Thanks for any advise where or how to test

White fuses TF1, F4.
Check and see if you do have DC Voltages on both ends of the fuse, meter ref to chassis ground.Last edited by budm; 10-01-2014, 04:58 PM.Never stop learning

Well, if you read Voltage in mV on TF1 fuse, then the main board is not sending the Voltage to the T-CON board, which can be bad switched MOSFET, or the processor is not sending the signal to turn on the MOSFET for it to send the Voltage to the T-CON board. Try re-seating both end of that LVDS cable, also inspect both ends of the LVDS cable and the connectors to see if there is any corrosion.Never stop learning
