Sony XBR-55X810C GN1T Chassis dead in the water, no white or flashing LED

Hi, I have this Sony XBR-55X810C that was working when it was last used. It has been stored with the power cord disconnected for two years. Now, reconnecting the power cord it shows nothing. No white power LED, no flashing LED. It is dead in the water.

On the power supply, the STBY3.3V standby voltage is OK. The POWER_ON has 3.4V and the power supply turns on, supplying 12V to the main board. This is pretty strange.

On the 1-894-595-12 (A2072598B) main board, I did follow the troubleshooting section 3-2-2. NO POWER-U-Com Failure for no power, and the only abnormality is #pin18 at the very end of the flow chart that has 0V. But it says to check this first: If BL_MUTE (R9174) is 0V...

So, I understand that BL_MUTE must be 0V. The board view is in very low resolution, so this is hard to know which resistor is R9174. I did include a high-resolution picture of Ucom IC9017 (which is a PIC16F527), and the surrounding components. Are you able to tell me which resistor is R9174? Also, do you know what to check if R9174 is not 0V?

If R9174 is effectively 0V and #pin18 is 0V, it says to replace IC9017. Yeah, where do I find a programmed IC9017 now?

To give me better chances of getting a response, here are the boards/TV sets that share the same GN1T Chassis:

I suspect a problem with the EMMC; this part wears out after a few years of use. Replacement is possible, but then you'll miss Netflix. This can be solved with a media player or something similar.
Almost all models with this motherboard have this problem, I have saved dozens of them this way.

2 years you may forget what the issue was or who have it stored.. front LED could be tun off by user setting since its Android TV. 12V you have, power on too.. did you watched the audio Optic port if it lit red ?

        Sony KD-55X8509C white flashing/pulsing LED
        by stav242
I was asked to look at a Sony KD-55X8509C as it was not powering on, no lights.

On inspection, there was no physical issues.
I seated all cables and repowered the TV, then the LED light flashed Green / Amber.
        - this seems to indicate repairing required, done by Firmware update.
so downloaded the latest Firmware from Sony website and wrote to 4Gb USB drive.
Inserted the drive and repowered the TV.
LED changed to white flashing/pulsing ... and it sat there for over an hour.

i was unsure what was happening so repowered the TV and now it just...

Macbook A1466 820-00165A heavy water damage but working with "flashing" screen
        by dbuergi
        Hi all,

i got a A1466 with serious water damage. I was able to clean the whole board and only found a fuse with a coroded trace. Cleaning and resoldering did the job and the macbook started normal but after some time the screen began "flashing" like turning on and off while the Macbook was still running. I checked the board again but was not able to find the problem until now.
        Any ideas where to look?...

Sony RB2G Chassis KDL-55W815B MAIN BOARD 2 Blink Error issue resolved! Happy days :)
        by cheeky2
For anyone interested just repaired this Sony Main board TV that had a 2 blink error code, the chassis is a RB2G which is common to quite a few different Sony models. The Ceramic 10uF 25V X7R 1206 capacitor C9114 was shorted which took the smd 2A 0603 fuse out F9101. This was powering the Buck converter TPS54332 which caused no 5V output from it.
See the attached picture of the locations of both components. I also attach the best service manual I found for this board for anyone else in a similar position of trying to repair this main board. It's not specific to the TV model however it gives...

20 year old Kenmore refrigerator ice maker bad water valve coil took a crap
        by sam_sam_sam
I got lucky that when I got home and was about to get some ice out of the ice dispenser I hear and see water running down the outside of the ice dispenser what the heck is going on here

At first I thought that the ice dispenser mold was cracked so I brought a new ice maker because this one has been in there for about 10 years now

Well I put the new one in and wait and I wait for the water valve to open and let water in no such luck well there is a way to check the function of the motor and the water valve on this ice maker just need a jumper wire “L” to...
