Re: Toshiba 46L5200U flash logo on screen when turn on

    Diah,
The 94 v is actually not a voltage rating, but a heat rating. I spoke with a tech from Digi key about this a while back about what those numbers meant, and that's what he told me. Makes sense because so far 100% of all my LED strips have a 94v rating on them. Doesn't matter how many LED's are on the strip and how many groups there are.

5 dots = 4 groups 1 ground? If it was 5 groups and 2 grounds, how would it be shown? Or should I just auto assume 1 ground every time?

Re: Toshiba 46L5200U flash logo on screen when turn on

he may correct if its heat rating , but this value you can read it also printed at some PSU PL section. any way..

about 5 dots, it explained the socket wiring, 5 wiring, 4 go separated to each group, and 1 connected to all first Diode of the groups.
if 5 groups and 2 grounds the print and strips will be separated

Digikey is correct! not may be. I have to put that marking on my PCBs I designed as the safety compliance requirement.

Yep, 94V-* is the UL Flammability standard for the PCB, nothing to do what so ever with the LED Voltage.
Did you verify that the 7030 Dual LED is 6V (connected internally in series) type or 3V (connected internally in parallel) type?

Did you learn that from that training? if the power supply is rated at 4A if then you should have 4A and nothing to do with the load?

one ask ( Did you verify that the 7030 Dual LED is 6V (connected internally in series) type or 3V (connected internally in parallel) type? )

                          exp:
if the groups had 16 LEDs , they are 6 volts in general

if the group contain 27-28 Led then 3V.

Had the exact same TV with one burnt LED.

If anybody wonders how to separate LED strip from heatsink, it is not glued (as I assumed) , just slide the LED strip in the direction of the connector, it`s gonna come off. Also, peak LED current is about 150mA, I would recommend to lower this current or it`s gonna happen again very soon with other LEDs. The current can be lowered by changing the resistor values of the three 4R7 resistors that are in parallel and then in series of the source of each of the 4 MOSFETs on the ssl460_3e1b driver board. Just remove one of the resistors and peak current will drop to 100mA or change them altogether to a convenient (higher) value.
