    Oscilloscope

Just wondering what type of scope I need to fix consumer electronics. 50MHZ, 100MHZ, digital or analog.

    I have the Rigol DS1052E which I have hacked(EEV blog) and now it's a 100Mhz scope.

It's a good equipment for laptops, LCD's and other consumer electronics?

Need to buy one and found this option interesting!
Nice price and a 100Mhz hack ... seems good!

      Do your recommend it?

          Re: Oscilloscope

I'm a beginner myself, but with help from some forum members, I have used it a couple of times on TVs and amps.
I have got mine for $315 shipped. They had a questionnaire at the check out and I have saved $15(if I remember well) answering some questions, but it's not available now.
The only "bad" thing about it, is that the fan is a bit loud. Since my warranty has expired, I have used, a silent fan and I can't hear it anymore.
