You would need an oscilloscope to see if it tries to start or does nothing. You'll waste a lot of time trying this.

I moved the transformer and nothing changed. The same alternating voltages from U9101:
      - alternating from 1.5 to 5v (mainly at 3V)
      - alternating from 9V to 13V
are also present on U9103 and U9102 optocuplers - PIN 4.
Not sure what to check any more, everything I test seems to be in order.

Wonder if it's a bad voltage regulating diode, maybe check the diodes, simple process set meter to diode mode, can check a how to video for any looking on who need to.

most tv boards on ebay are untested - even if they say otherwise.
people salvage them from dumped tv's with broken screens.

            Have you checked D9105?
Sometimes it shorts out. Did you get the IC9101 new?
I hope not from China; they often sell scrap parts that don't work.

After changing again U9101 with a new one received from Aliexpress the board is working again and TV seems to be fine now!! That means that the IC U9101 from the Aliexpress board (having P02) was bad. I was about to abandon this board...
Tomorrow I'll test the TV for a few hours to see how it performs.
This week I will also receive a new replacement board and I wonder if it's good or bad )

Samsung UN65NU6900FXZA Stand-by light on but voltages on PS indicate TV should be on
                by DXseekerMO
                Hello everyone!

Tonight I picked up a Samsung UN65NU6900FXZA with a curious issue.

                Symptoms:

                1) Plug TV in to AC outlet, stand-by light illuminates briefly and goes out.
                2) TV does not appear to turn on
                3) Backlights do not illuminate, voltages associated with backlights on Power Supply are not present
                4) "Power on" terminal on Power Supply has 3.26v
                5) "A13V" terminals have 12.9v
                6) Stand-by test jumper on Power Supply has 12.9V
                7) Optical audio jack on Main Board illuminates
                8) With stand-by...

                Problem

This is an LG edge LED lit LCD Display. The LEDs are on the bottom edge of the display. There are 2 bars (left and right) Each bar has many LEDs and a 6 pin connector. Each pin drive several LEDs thus is the highest current flow / heat junction. The weak lead free solder gradually fails with thermal expansion/contraction cycling and increases resistance. PSU will compensate up to a point, then when the current is too high, PSU just shut down the backlight causing a dark display. I have even seen one which the connector just fell off as solder points became completely detached....

Philips 50PUH6400 bad color and gosting / slow motion on one side
                by Cornito
                Hello Team,

New issue on LCD panel where I need to find out the cause and the potential solution.
This is on the Philips 50PUH6400, the LCD panel is an INNOLUX V500dk2 xrs1.

I have image, on the right side, the image is more or less normal even if there is a small blur on edge, on the left there is an issue.
When moving up and down in the menu on the right the image is slow to disappear, and is darker, like red/brown.

I've checked voltages, no issue found comparing right and left side of the panel driver.
VHG VGL CKV... are the sames on...

Philips 55 oled 804/12 red light blink
                by djordje
                Hello all,

I have Philips Oled 55 (804/12) with black screen and red light blink.

I have opened TV and tested voltages based on similar oled topics, on power supply board i am getting ps_o/f 3.3v and 5v for t-con_o/f while panel_o/f is 0v. And i get black screen.

Also i have done self psb test and i am getting on psb +12V_t and also + 24V for panel. (Measurements on dmm are + 12.3V fot t-con and 22.4 for panel)

When i power only psb and tcon with 4 ribbons for panel i only get black screen.

My questions is what should i do next...

Philips 37HFL5682L/F7 no standby light, incomplete service manual?
                by jasonbay13
picked up a tv and when the power is plugged, the standby light flashes real quick then goes off. of 3.3, 12, 24v is all there but i couldnt find any 5v on the back-end board. ON/OFF is low, which it seems is what turns on the backlight so i removed the wire at the back-end board and put a 10k resistor to the 3.3v, which when plugged in brings on the backlight for a split second and also a blue light "LED1" on the inverter board, which goes off after a short time.
am i missing something to bring on the backlight or is the inverter/ccfl gone bad? would that cause the inverter board...
