    Diffuser/LPG for UE50NU7022KXXH

    Hello,
    I'm trying to repair a UE50NU7022KXXH with a cracked diffuser/lpg and now also with burned leds
    There are 4/5 white spots on the bottom that are not visible since the left side is dark now so I want to change the diffuser/lpg

    Looking the samsung spare parts, I see that there is a DIFFUSER PLATE and a LPG so I'm wondering what is really broken?

      You need new LEDs and a new diffuser. If you look on marketplace for a 50 with a cracked screen you can transfer it over also. I don't know the acronym lpg so can't comment on that. I've never bought a new diffuser because they are too expensive. $40 ain't bad for you, usually they are $300+ here. Maybe 50 inch is small enough

          Actually is a typo, it is LGP (light guide plate) or plexiglass as here https://www.avelmak.sk/produkt/89733?lm=1878
          The diffuser looks like a transparent white panel https://fixpart.co.uk/product/samsun...ate-television but on this link I see a comment that the part is not good for ue50nu7020 which is basically the same TV

              OK apparently the broken part was the LGP panel (plexi) but my TV died completely before getting the parts so I gave up

                  I was attempting to replace the LED lights on an Edge-lit Samsung UN55NU7100...While removing the sheets and the light diffuser plate which already had cracks at the bottom. The plate bent(more than I'd like) and broken in half.

                  1) Is it still usable if I can put in back into place

                  2) or Do I have to find a replacement diffuser plate and can it be any diffuser plate from a 55" Samsung LED TV or specific to my model?

                  3) can a new plate be purchased from Samsung?

                  Hi guys, I changed my backlight to a 5g in Samsung but the broken leds burned the thick plastic panel . I give the photo. Do you think if I try to rotate the panel, with the botton on the top I have a good image? Becacause now how u can see, on the light color I sse the leds because of the burned on the plastic diffuser....

                  This specific model, LG 49UH850V, is 3D. The problem here is that the diffuser has been cracked at the bottom, where the LED strip is installed, due to the heat from the LEDs. This is a common problem for many LGs and Samsung TVs.

                  The questions here are

                  1) Can I replace the diffuser from a non-3D LG TV with the same size (exact fit)?
                  2) If I replace the diffuser with the original part, do I have to replace the LED strips also? They work as expected, but some technicians recommend replacing them together.

                  Problem

                  This is an LG edge LED lit LCD Display. The LEDs are on the bottom edge of the display. There are 2 bars (left and right) Each bar has many LEDs and a 6 pin connector. Each pin drive several LEDs thus is the highest current flow / heat junction. The weak lead free solder gradually fails with thermal expansion/contraction cycling and increases resistance. PSU will compensate up to a point, then when the current is too high, PSU just shut down the backlight causing a dark display. I have even seen one which the connector just fell off as solder points became completely detached....

                  Hi there !

                  I'm having an issue for several weeks with my quite old K70 LUX RGB keyboard. I haven't used it for few months, and once I setup up again my desktop computer, I got several dead LEDs on that keyboard. I tried the Corsair troubleshooting thing (disabling options in iCUE, ...) but nothing changed so I conclude that for some reason some LEDs went in retirement...😅
                  Decision taken to change these LEDs as I have access to desoldering iron and binocular magnifier, I wrote a ticket to tech support, hopping to obtain the LEDs reference and... They refused to tell me 🙄...
