Bad panels somewhat common on these but going by the photo you might be lucky it's just a loose connection. Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!

Re: can this Panasonic Vierra be repaired ?
Ok so the connection on the right seems to be the one causing problems however the one on the left heats up alot but is the only one out of all that heat up realy quick. Could the one on the left be causing the right one to fail ?Attached Filesif you find these attachements useful please consider making a small donation to the site

Check the ribbon cable between the C board and D board (or A board) carefully for tears/breaks.Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!

Tom im unsure what you mean of C board and D board (or A board)Comment

Re: can this Panasonic Vierra be repaired ?
C board = C1,C2,C3... the boards the connectors with the metal/flex connections.
D board on this built into A board so just check connectors between C1/C2/C3 and A board. Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!

Y-buffers would not cause this fault. No way for them to.Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!

Re: can this Panasonic Vierra be repaired ?
My thoughts are the COF chips along the bottom of the panel.
Ive had a few 42" Pans that have had COF chips (the ones on the ally plates screwed onto the chassis running along the bottom of the panel, connected to the PCB by the Mylar film.
When faulty, they often run bloody hot in comparison to the other chips at the bottom that are working normally. The faulty chip will be directly under that part of the picture--that is showing the fault.
They are not a replacable item, they are part of the 'tab' attached to the glass of the panel, and backed by that ally plate.TELEFIX

by BigPeteI picked up a Panasonic NH-P70G2, though it would apply to the NH-P80G2, NH-P70G1 and NH-P80G1 models as well, as maybe some other models. This one was coming up with a H86 error. After lots of testing and googling it was an error with one of the thermistors in the condenser area.
The attached French service manuals is incorrect, TH11 is gray and is a 95k thermistor and TH12 is black and is a 35k thermistor.
In my case TH12 was bad. I was able to get a 35k thermistor on AliExpress. It's 6mm in diameter.
Unfortunately the whole machine has to come apart to fix it.

Hello! yes I know there is already lots of information about this issue. I have a Panasonic TC-P55ST50 that originally displayed an 8-blink error code. Following the troubleshooting flowchart, I ended up replacing the SS board. However, even after replacing it, the issue persists. The TV turns on and stays on without displaying an image, and continuity is confirmed on all connectors. What am I missing here🤔?
Ok Im a mechanical engineer ...but I thought I was able to follow a rather simple flowchart for electric troubleshooting 😂.

by cubytusHi to all,
I was given this TV, an entry-level 4K 50" set. Some have criticized its lack of contrast and relatively poor colour rendering, but for my needs, it's very decent.
I reset everything to factory settings, but this line keeps on fading in and out when watching a streaming channel from the Tizen firmware. Interestingly, it only happens when TV is warm, after about 1h45 of it being turned on.
Watching a movie from an external source doesn't trigger the line as easily (needs 2 hours), and from a normal viewing distance, is hardly noticeable. It...1 Photo01-10-2024, 01:26 AM -
by otaku_nutHi all, I tried searching the site for answers but I'm a bit over my head understanding some of what might apply and what doesn't, so please be patient with me. I used Freakaftr8's fix to remove the left driver board to restore picture to a black screen with sound Vizio E701i-A3. After doing so, I now have a large red vertical stripe down the center of the screen. The fix did require getting another t-con board from online, I ordered it before I knew about the mosfit fix for the old t-con board. I have tried cleaning the cable connections to the t-con board. I swapped the cables going from...08-19-2025, 06:11 PM

by TrueSword88Hi all.
I have a Kogan 65' LCD Panel with a thin blue vertical line (top to bottom) on left hand side of panel.
The line just happens to coincide with the end of COF and start of the next COF (attached).
The line is permanent no matter what I've tried. I've tried pressure testing the panel (top to bottom) and all over, I didn't notice any difference with the line, either temporary or semi-permanent.
Also tried unplugging all flex cables, cleaned with isopropyl then re-inserting to no avail - line remains.
Hoping to fix... - Loading...
