Bad panels somewhat common on these but going by the photo you might be lucky it's just a loose connection.

Sure this is a PX80, pixels look pretty close, maybe FHD 1080p panel?

Ok so the connection on the right seems to be the one causing problems however the one on the left heats up alot but is the only one out of all that heat up realy quick. Could the one on the left be causing the right one to fail ?

What does the panel do when you disconnect the left hand one?

Check the ribbon cable between the C board and D board (or A board) carefully for tears/breaks.

C board = C1,C2,C3... the boards the connectors with the metal/flex connections.
D board on this built into A board so just check connectors between C1/C2/C3 and A board.

Upper and lower buffers would probably be at fault here, check the IC chips for any small holes or burn marks, failing that could be the panel but plenty to check before we can presume that.

Y-buffers would not cause this fault. No way for them to.

My thoughts are the COF chips along the bottom of the panel.

Ive had a few 42" Pans that have had COF chips (the ones on the ally plates screwed onto the chassis running along the bottom of the panel, connected to the PCB by the Mylar film.

When faulty, they often run bloody hot in comparison to the other chips at the bottom that are working normally. The faulty chip will be directly under that part of the picture--that is showing the fault.

They are not a replacable item, they are part of the 'tab' attached to the glass of the panel, and backed by that ally plate.

Panasonic TC-P55ST50 8 blinks then no blinks

Hello! yes I know there is already lots of information about this issue. I have a Panasonic TC-P55ST50 that originally displayed an 8-blink error code. Following the troubleshooting flowchart, I ended up replacing the SS board. However, even after replacing it, the issue persists. The TV turns on and stays on without displaying an image, and continuity is confirmed on all connectors. What am I missing here🤔?
Ok Im a mechanical engineer ...but I thought I was able to follow a rather simple flowchart for electric troubleshooting 😂.

                                Hi to all,

I was given this TV, an entry-level 4K 50" set. Some have criticized its lack of contrast and relatively poor colour rendering, but for my needs, it's very decent.

I reset everything to factory settings, but this line keeps on fading in and out when watching a streaming channel from the Tizen firmware. Interestingly, it only happens when TV is warm, after about 1h45 of it being turned on.

Watching a movie from an external source doesn't trigger the line as easily (needs 2 hours), and from a normal viewing distance, is hardly noticeable. It...

                                Hi all.

I have a Kogan 65' LCD Panel with a thin blue vertical line (top to bottom) on left hand side of panel.
The line just happens to coincide with the end of COF and start of the next COF (attached).

The line is permanent no matter what I've tried. I've tried pressure testing the panel (top to bottom) and all over, I didn't notice any difference with the line, either temporary or semi-permanent.

Also tried unplugging all flex cables, cleaned with isopropyl then re-inserting to no avail - line remains.

                                Hoping to fix...

Hello. I am asking you for a hint on how to solve the problem with my touchbook Panasonic CF53-2 standart model. After setting up the BIOS, the laptop displays the wrong image until Windows loads. (More precisely, it displays, but distorted, instead of the Panasonic image immediately after turning it on, it displays what is in photo #1 in the attached file) Then the image appears when Windows starts loading and then there are no problems with the screen until the reboot. If you enter the BIOS, just a black screen. If you connect an external screen, the image on it is the same as on the built-in...

Howdy everyone! I hope all is well where ever you are!

I'm attempting to integrate a couple of LED pods into an automotive reverse lamp circuit. The problem being, while the vehicle is running there is a 8.5v current present on the reverse lamp power wire. Needless to say is that all LED pods and lights dimly illuminate while the 8.5v is present, so the LEDs are always powered on while the vehicle is running. When the vehicle is shifted into reverse, the voltage changes to 12 volts.

I am uncertain how to convert this line into a switched 12v output line for the LED pods....
