    SONY KD-65XE7002 Screen Flicker

This isn't my video but it's a fair representation of the fault I have, starts with slight screen flicker as the set warms up which happens every 5 seconds or so that gets more regular until more or less constant https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Un8cAjUtOvA was thinking T-Con but open to any other ideas as seems to be quite a common fault on these

its linux tv, much like to reset all lvds and ribbon cable after cleaning them.... check if you have bad caps on psu... the last things test half dissplay to see if the flicker remain or not.. then t-con replacement

Tested half display and fault disappears when either ribbon is pulled ie no fault if either ribbon is disconnected but is present when both ribbons connected

I am facing similar issue in my Vizio M55-F0. One photo is when its not flickering and the other one shows with flicker. Is this TCON or main (power) board issue?

Update: I found a swollen 22uF cap on the video board that I replaced. This has led to reduction in the frequency in this jitter. I noticed that 4K videos on Youtube work flawlessly for almost 6 hours, however upon playing regular videos from Youtube, the jitter appears back again. This behaviours persists unless the tv is turned off for some time and then restarted.

Please let me know if you have any ideas on this.
