    17PW26-4 in Xenius 32" 17MB45-3 (bad zero ohm jumper)

    I had a blinking light of death on this set. It would try to power on then abort with a blinking light. No sound or picture.

    Prelim checks showed 24V & 12V good from PSU, standby 3.3V & 5V good too. Indeed jumpering BLON on inverter gave backlight. I tested the 24V audio supply (separate from the main 24V), and found that to only be 0.5V.

    Looking under the power board I found the zero-ohm link in series with the 24V audio was O/C, quite visibly blown... which I found odd. I checked the main board and found no shorts, so decided to install a new jumper. The set powered on and works fine now. Audio is fine, and the audio supply at 24.5V is present and stable.

    I am confused as to why the jumper failed... has anyone else found this to happen?

      I've also came across this fault did as you says and fitted a new link set worked fine never seen a link burnt out so bad with no short.

              intermittent problem with the amp chip maybe - see if the audio supply/section fails again.
              do you run the tv loud?

                  I don't know this TV's history all that well, it was a freebie. I have tried running the TV loud, no problem.

                              i have many 5050sff. all of them, and how i experienced over many years for all about 250 DELLs goin through my hands, are fully flashable and can be serviced in any way when the service_mode jumper is set.
                              Never ever i experienced problems with that.

                              Now i have one 5050sff machine, where this jumper isnt working at all.
                              I do not get the normal messge that the jumper is set when booting and a short test with FPT just confirms this. Everything is locked -->> EVEN for reading !?

                              The history of the machine is that i used it in my office...

                              I am curious if anyone here owns the G8 or has good quality board shots?

                              I've done some googling and curious if the 805 G8 series has some kind of jumper?!

                              The 800, G3 series, much older, the maintenance and service guide, clearly talks about a PSWD jumper

                              Hi I need help with a Samsung un43nu7100 BN94-13191C/BN41-02635A with boot loop problem even with tcon jumper.
                              I've already try tape method and same happen, if I disconnect both flex from mainboard to panel tv boots normal even I hear Samsung sound.
                              When I solder jumper to make t-con work with or without panel or panel cables connected it still reboot or power cycling.
                              What I noticed is that there's no voltage in VHG, HAVDD, PANEL_3.3V, AVDD_17V or 12v near dc-dc chip.
                              I check capacitors and diodes and didn't find any short IN MAINBOARD.
                              Measured all power supply...

                              Hello everybody

                              I have a Jumper EZBook x7 with no picture, caps lock no working. The laptop starts, the CPU gets warm, after a while the fan starts spinning but nothing on the screen. Current consumption is stable, about 1 amp. I can't see any short on the motherboard (CPU resistance very low but mosfets seem OK).
                              I suspect a bios issue (or a problem with the onboard RAM), but can' find any bios for this model. I already try to clean the ME Region, but without any success. If someone has this laptop, can he please share the bios? Please find attached the dump of my original...

                              Is this jumper wire correct? macbook board missing pad.

                              2015 macbook pro which has no sound.

                              Noticed some corrosion by the Cirrus audio ic. Resister R6324 had corroded off the board, pad indicated in pic is gone.

                              So soldered another 100k resister to the pad closest to the ic and ran a jumper wire as per pic to l6201 for the 3v.

                              Is that correct or should i be jumpuring to somewhere else?...
