Been reading the other posts and downloaded the schematics for this power supply. I studied the repair kits for this power supply. The thing I don't get is I metered all the caps, diodes, fets, and transistors. They all read perfect. Any that didn't read properly I removed and metered again. Proved them to be ok. Now there is some ic's on the repair kit I obviously can't meter. Is it possible that one of these chips has blown but nothing else? I find that odd. The fuse has never blown on the board.

Re: A17P1MPW LC401EM3F Emerson PS Issue
Got an update for anyone that has issues with this power supply. There is five 4 pin ic's 2561a is on them. I bought them from Digikey. I got the tv to power up now but I have no picture, just audio. I was metering the inverter board and I am not getting voltages on the fets. I checked the fuse and it's good. Is it common for an inverter to die? I haven't had one on any of my repairs in the past go faulty. -

Hi - do you have back light -or nothing at all on panel?
Looks to be voltages supplied from top left and top right connectors to the inverter board. Are those voltages ok?
Please can you post a picture of the inverter board? Please upload pictures using attachment function when ask for help on the repair

Re: A17P1MPW LC401EM3F Emerson PS Issue
No backlight at all. Black screen with audio. The connectors leaving the power supply are supplying the proper voltages. Once it gets into the inverter board, I lose my voltages at the gates. Voltage goes in and doesn't come out. No short when metering the gates though.Comment

by rouninHi everyone,
I'm working on a MacBook Air 2020 (A2337, board 820-02016) and running into a strange USB-C issue. I've gone through quite a bit of testing and part replacement, but I'm stuck — hoping someone here can shed some light.
🛠 Original Issue
The machine initially wouldn't negotiate 20V over USB-C — stuck at 5V.
Diagnosis showed PP1V5_UPC0_LDO_CORE shorted to ground.
I replaced U3100 (UF400) using a donor board (A2179), and the machine powers on fine now.

by ugamazingI have three identical-spec 820-01700 boards (2.6/32/512), and ALL THREE boards came to us with the same fault, from different sources: The boards don't wake from hibernation with the keyboard or lid, they ONLY wake when you press the power button. I understand this is a very minor issue, but the boards must be fixed!
We will of course begin with the obvious (checking lid signals), but I couldn't help but notice these three boards were all 32GB variants. Has anyone noticed an issue relating to these 32GB boards in particular? I of course don't think it's a RAM issue, but it's bizarre... -
by DreadnoughtHi. Firstly I apologise if I break any forum unwritten rules, as I'm new here. I've used badcaps for advice in the past, but I've only just joined. I'm self taught, so I don't have anywhere near the knowledge that some of you guys have, but I can only hope to keep learning and get there one day.
Anyway, I've been working on a TV recently. It's the one listed in the title. Logik L40DIGB20. It powers on fine, with the standby light turning blue as it should. The backlight turns on for a second, then goes off. Using a flashlight, I can see an image on the screen. The power supply is fine,...02-08-2021, 12:28 PM -

Hello guys!
I have a strange issue with my laptop keyboard and I'm lost trying to detect what's wrong - the KB9028Q-C or the keyboard itself.
It powers on OK and has no other issues except the following:- CAPS LOCK does not work at all
- Fn button toggles Flight Mode
- When I press 't' or '5', it produces 't5', and when I press 'y' or '6', it produces 'y6'
- (with SHIFT pressed: 't%' and 'y^' respectively)
but when I press and hold...06-27-2025, 01:10 AM - Loading...
