    LG 47" LED Issues

    Model number 47LN5400

It turns on and works for a while then just shuts off on its own.
After a min or so it comes back on and then when it decides to it shuts back off.

Any ideas anyone? Has any body ran in to this?
    Thank a head of time.

does the unit turn off entirely (no standby power even) or is it just the screen that turns off after a while?

      Re: LG 47" LED Issues

first step is usally to take the back off, take good pictures of the power board and mainboard and post them. also if you have a multimeter, check the voltages on all the pins at all the connectors and post those too. try to take readings when the tv is working fine, and also when the problem occurs (if the TV turns off completely, check to see if you still have 5v standby)
      Don't fear the repair...

I did turn off completly and I fixed it.
It ended up being 2 Caps on the Power Supply.
        I should have known.
        Thanks for the reply.

              Hello everyone,
I need help with my Lenovo Legion laptop. It turns on for a few seconds and then immediately shuts down. I believe this is a BIOS corruption issue.
              Laptop Model:
              • Model: Lenovo Legion Slim 5 16APH8
              • GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070
              • Main BIOS chip size: 32MB
              • VBIOS chip size: 16MB
Problem Description: The laptop was working perfectly. Now, when I press the power button, the keyboard lights up and the laptop powers on for just a few seconds, then it shuts itself off completely. After researching, I am convinced it's a corrupt BIOS.

MacBook Pro 14" M1 Pro Turns on functions then turns off when I plug in USB C cable

MacBook Pro 14" M1 Pro Turns on functions then turns off when I plug in USB C cable to reset the computer. I disconnect the battery fully and then reconnect it and it won't turn back on. After letting it sit for a day I plug the battery back up, and the MagSafe 3 cable and it powers on and stays ons, once I plug in a USB C cable into the port closes to the MagSafe port it turns off and the Amber light turns off and won't turn on. No water damage, nothing, I want to do a DFU restore to wipe the computer since the customer stated they did an update and ever since it just decided to not work...

Turns on and shuts off NUC8I7HNK4 needed a BIOS
              by ZixuTech
Seems like we are dealing with a case of a corrupted BIOS after Intel Driver software attempted to flash the bios (haven't seen that before). The customer reported seeing a BIOS message while the screen was flickering during the Intel Display Driver installation. This was while the BIOS WRITE lock jumper was in place. Resulting in Loop restarting.

Afterwards, the customer attempted flashing BIOS via USB stick, resulting now in turning and immediately shutting down unit NUC8I7HNK4.

Under the thermal cam, I can see that the CPU is initiating a heat signature for a second...

LG L192WS-BN backlight turns off after 1 second
              by www
I am testing an old LG L192WS-BN monitor I have that gives an image, but has a backlight issue. When you turn it on the backlight turns on 1 second and it turns off, turns on again, 1 second and it turns off and stays off. Using a flashlight I can see there's still an image.

I replaced a bulged cap on the main board, but made no difference. I also got another exact same model monitor that has a broken ccfl (the connector got ripped from the panel and the main screen connector is also broken so I can't use this panel to test), tried using the main board from this one, same issue....
