    LG 60PZ550 color issue

Hi there...hoping someone can help with the color issue im having on my 3 year old LG 60PZ550 plasma. Not sure if this is what is referred to as posterization or not. The problem primarily occurs on the top third and bottom third of the TV.

So far i have tried to reset the picture, no help. Ive checked the voltage settings on the power board and they were reading correctly based on the sticker. Ive also replaced the YSus board as well as both Y buffer boards and i still have the issue.

Following are some short videos i took of the issue: apologize for the reflection of the window in all

    TV color issue 2: http://youtu.be/3Z_W6bZtXyg
    TV color issue 3: http://youtu.be/fAIXl98HZwA

Thanks in advance for any assistance!

Could this be a zsus board issue because now there is a humming noise coming from the zsus board and the picture now has a layer of black splotches that slowly go away as it warms up. Would hate to replace that board as well but still be stuck with the original problem.

Think I would be more concerned with the two lines and strange image between them....

Prob mainboard fault if all the voltages are correct.

Help Needed: Samsung UE55MU8000 Dead - Possible Main Board Issue
          by Asraf Atb
          Hi everyone,

Im looking for some advice regarding my Samsung UE55MU8000 TV with main board model BN94-11606C. The TV suddenly stopped turning on and now shows no signs of life at all not even the standby light at the bottom.

Initially, I suspected an issue with the PSU, so I took it to a repair center. They tested it and confirmed that the PSU works perfectly, even on other TVs. Based on that, I started investigating the main board.

I disconnected the main board from the PSU, and the backlight turned on, which seems to confirm the main board is the issue....

          TCL 55RP620K power board issue
          by notallbad
Originally the tv arrived with dimmed backlights (not failed leds) but everything else worked ok. Adjusting backlight in menu did nothing but voltage changed on dimming control pins,
          0% p_dim at 1.65v and a_dim at 1v
          50% p_dim at 3.3v and a_dim at 1.65v
          100% p_dim at 3.3v and a_dim at 2.88v

Changed backlight leds anyway as always like to have complete peace of mind they wont fail shortly after selling the tv. No change as expected!

Leds are 2 rows of 15 6v leds.

On inspection of the power board found diode MBR3200 shorted so replaced with...

          by Tynan Dill
I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

          Assuming...

Sony Bravia KDL-70W850B T-CON board / software update issue
          by eclectric
Hi, I'm hoping someone can help me with this issue before I give up on this TV.

In short, I replaced the T-CON board due to an error code indicating that was the problem, after which it flashed a green and orange LED meaning software update required. I cannot get the tv to do the required update via USB, so I am stuck.

Here is a rundown of the symptoms and the steps I have taken to troubleshoot:

I inherited the TV with the symptom that it would turn on, then turn off after 5-10 seconds and a red LED flashed 4 or 5 times. Sometimes it would be 4, sometimes...
