Re: help vizio plasma vp504fhdtv10a logo lite up only
I would start by unplugging the X and Y mains, one at a time, to see if it will power on. Make sure you unplug them with the set off and the PSU caps discharged. Leave the set unplugged for at least 10 minutes before you plug the board(s) back in.Comment

Re: help vizio plasma vp504fhdtv10a logo lite up only
This is the LG made Plasma for visio, I had one replaced all the caps in the PS and had proper voltage for VA/VS and I couldn't get it to show a picture.
I replaced 9x 3300uf 35v caps and x1 1000uf 25v cap.
The LG made Vizio is a pain. I would look for small cracks on the very edge of the panel.
Photos will help too.Comment

Have you done ANY diagnosis or do you expect someone to guess? You need to tell us what you have checked. 5V standby is good? Any main rails when you press power button? Are all fuses on the main board OK? All regulators OK? Did you check the power button works by seeing if the main board receives an ON/OFF signal (check the pins on the button connector for voltage change as you press buttons.)
Pictures of the chassis? Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!

by Bob1394I have used the search, and am stumped.
My Vizio M65-C1, Vizio logo appears for about 10 seconds then goes off.Power LED blinks 15 times then the TV powers down.
I have read through many threads on the M65-C1 including the following threads. I feel like I must be looking right past the solution to my problem:

by Super360Ok so here's the story. I was watching tv one day when all of a sudden I heard a pop from the back of the tv set and rushed to unplug the set. By this time the tv already had smoke coming out the back. It was not storming or inclement weather that day to cause a power surge to the best of my abilities. When I opened the tv up, I found that the three capacitors on the psu (highlighted in red) were all bulging and looked they had exploded. I replaced all of them right away and when I went to start up the tv after the "fix" it started just showing the flashing vizio logo as soon as power...

by x_orange90_xI just got this tv today and it's getting stuck on the wallpaper. When I first power it on it goes to the V logo, then a black screen for about 15 seconds, then a Chromecast error for just a few seconds, and then finally to a wallpaper. It stays frozen on this wallpaper and does not respond to anything on the remote besides power on/off. Likewise the buttons on the tv do nothing either (besides power). I did the "reset" by holding the volume down and input buttons together for 10 seconds. It showed a message at the top of the screen saying it was Wiping Data and would restart soon. After...

by JaquesPrattI have a Vizio D32f-E1 LCD TV that does NOT have a TCON board.
This TV recently went through some 'death throes' and now won't boot. The first problem that began to manifest was while watching tv, the screen would 'freeze', and the image would dim over a few seconds until it was very dark. HOWEVER, the audio of the show would continue as normal. I could power off the TV for 5-20 seconds, power back on, and the video would be normal. This would occur 1-3 times when the TV was first started, and would not happen again after the TV was 'warmed up'. Not ideal, but this glitch was manageable.... -
Vizio e601i-A3 - Has Sound and Display, But No Backlight - Bad Power Supply Board or Bad LED Bulbs ?by Tynan DillI was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.
Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.
I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.
The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.
With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.
