sharp lc-65ub30u plays but screen is flashing on and off

I forgot to ask if you detect flashing light also from the screen back holes, plus witch is the blink frequency and if constant..

I ordered and installed a power supply but that wasn't the problem. I dissassembled the tv to check the backlights. While checking the backlight strips with a LED backlight tester I found one backlight that wouldn't come on at first. After turning the tv on, all the backlights, including the one that wouldn't come on with the tester, came on and started flashing. These are 6 volt backlights. I checked the voltage at that one backlight and the voltage would climb to 12 volts +. So, I changed that one backlight with a new one and that fixed the problem. Thank you guys for all your help.

when i wrote there are some one just like to have confusion of users threats,,i do mean it and am sure of it.... , as he will never pay from his own pocket money of any boards to replaced with out any exact reason....
OP you had spared time when i wrote to you from first page where are yours issue... any way... take this in ears please as advice and happy to hear you fixed by LEDs
