got this tv stuck in standby checked psu voltages very low on further testing unplugged the lvds cable from main board tv backlight comes on,so tested fuse on tcon seems ok so looking for help here pls
Would think if this has the T.MSD3067.68A main board it has a bad eeprom, But could be Wrong, do not try to reset this as it will not work and could do more damage, if the main is of that above the eeprom is the one at U10 Flocko
ok i now have backlight after removing tcon to check fuse but now have a orange standby light but still no picture ive attached the voltages im getting
thanks for the reply flocko the main board is 17MB38-1 290110
ok upon reseating the lvds cable i know have backlight and a picture but when i turn it off via the buttons on the side it turns off but i now have a orange and blue flashing standby lights and you cant turn the tv back on unless you unplug the tv
Check each end of the T-con fuse to ground for shorts.
Use the 2000 ohm range, power to the TV unplugged.

What range do you use to test fuses with power off? Use that.

OK, looks like on yours it is marked 2K, so use that.

We need to see if your panel is shorting the T-con out, so a few more tests first. Should panel be OK it should be OK if all connectors are the same.

Use the 2Kohm range. Put the black probe on the case. Red probe each end of fuse. What readings do you see? (Allow meter to settle for 10 seconds.)

OK, can you try powering the set on with the T-con disconnected, but the top panel ribbons removed?
If it powers on - you may have a shorted panel - your choice to put in a new T-con as it may be damaged.
If it does not power on as before the T-con is likely the only fault.

Hmm :/ I think that may be a bad panel there. You can try with only one ribbon at a time if it has two.
