ive just looked again they look ok what main board does this sey use? picture and part number from the board if possible.

hi the model number is 17pw46-4 . the picture of the board is in the first post and a schematic is a little further down . this is really frustrating me . I have now replaced all of the caps . the 2 large caps I used Panasonic . have checked for bad solders . I am a novice but do have some electronics skills from my uni days . thanks vinceroger for your help my friend

the main board is the one with the scart socket etc on as your psu appears to have the correct voltages maybe its a problem with the main board. may be budm or tom will advise too on what next to test

Maybe a closer picture from the main board would also help? in first picture the main board is too far to make out anything that is on there.

Not sure if this would help but I had the same problem with my 42 inch no back light etc but the minute I disabled the LVDS cable it came on in the end a replacement main board fixed it

this thread has the same psu and maybe main board as your how do the voltages match too yours?

it appears that i should have about 9 volts on pin 4 . will look at this .

Sounds like it's not detecting video input.
