    I'm an electronics noob, so even if I was able to measure, I would doubt my own accuracy. What are the chances or what would be the signs that it was the Y-board?

        A faulty Y board would certainly make the pic go out but to have it come back on again... I can't tell you to replace the Y board as with the information you've provided that's just a crap shoot.

            Just in case any of you were following along at home---I replaced the Y Control board and everything works like clockwork!

                Help.. I'm also having a similar problem with my plasma I get power but no picture or sound I turn unit on and get slightly a grey glow was recommended to replace YSUS and Y buffer boards but didn't help any. I've done the wire in EXT_AUTO_GEN and hole next to it and it goes thru the color cycle any ideas?

                    in the mean time I wrote the second link to the chip, placed it and the laptop went on and showed the card.
                    Just like before after a reboot the error 43 came up.
                    I tried to heat the ram chips and the actual dGPU chiop without success - even with 2 RAM chips less it behaves the same.
                    Giving up on making it work, can anyone help with enabling UMA on the 9500 XPS board ( LA-J191P )?

                    I have never done this and been trying to understand it from the schematics, but for a beginner as I am it is hard to understand from that.
                    Page 15 has some info mentioning UMA and...

                    Hi guys,
                    I have problems no picture with LG model 50PT350, first of all, I change the 2 buffer boards who was no good, the TV working 2 weeks and today same problem, I check and I found Zsus board defect now, I change it for a new one and no picture, I check VS VA and 5 volts , all this voltage are there, I disconnect the upper buffer board, no picture, I disconnect the lower buffer board, no picture, what I have to check now?...

                    I've been trying to re-enable WiFi on this laptop that has a factory option to disable it "permanently" (WLAN option greyed out in bios). I've tried modding the bios myself (clearing service tag/ manufacturing mode) and editing the UEFI variables for default settings to see if I could change that, but that didn't work and I figured I'd ask for help. I'm not sure, but I think it may be disabled somehow by the EC. Any help would be appreciated.

                    Hello everyone. As the title says, I need help with enabling dGPU support on my Acer motherboard. It has a pcie 3.0 x16 slot which I would like to use with a gtx 750ti I have laying around. However, upon booting it up with the dgpu, the bios tends to crash. It just freezes at the Acer splash screen and becomes unresponsive.

                    Upon further research, I discovered that everyone with my motherboard faced this issue. Apparently, it was just not possible because the bios happened to be some hybrid of a uefi and legacy bios which led to dgpus having a tough time figuring out whether they...
