pin 4 and pin 14 on PL206.

Note there are no numberings so you need to deduce the pin 1 position.

Pin 1, 3, 5, 7, 9 are all grounded, so you just need to find the pin opposite 3 (pin 4), and then go 10 down from there for pin 14.

good and bad news no magic smoke lol and no bulb lit bad news no voltage anywhere on connectors just need to pop to town quick then will do more testing on the primary side as the 2 thermistors was also blown anything else on the primary side you can advise to check what does ic 806 do? can a bridge rectifier go open circuit? cheers and back soon.

right just done some voltage test no voltage across the two legs of primary cap at all? new fuse tests fine. does the power in go to pl809 or pl815 ones a switch can you comfirm please.

Can you supply a pic of your board - there are different versions some with switch and some without.

tom will post my own pics soon ive just ordered new camera battery as was leaking!! so this imaage is the exact board hope this helps for now just rechecked with a different multi meter defently no voltage on mains cap although if i hold a lead on neautral on psu socket i have voltage to the bridge rectifire.

PL815 is a position for a mains switch - you need to jumper that if you aren't using it for a quick test.

yes thats the one i thaught too i have soldered a tempory jumper still no voltage? any fault finding tips?

Any AC at outer terminals of bridge rectifier? Use multimeter AC mode.

brand new just tested directly on ac in on board 245 volts ac

i have made a lead up out of a old extension lead i have broke in to the brown positive wire only and have fitted the light socket between the 2 brown wires i then connect the tv power supply into the extesion lead socket i have just tried this on my working tv in standby it does not light switch tv on glows dim and bright as the sets a 40 in lcd i tested it on.

fuse in yes and still tests good remember when i got the tv the two thermistors was removed along with the fuse the fuse marking was on the psu board the man did not give me the blown thermistors i asked him over facebook to try to read the number from the old part to me you helped me find replacements could these be wrong? would they cause the issue.

I need a picture of the bottom of the board to indicate where to test, something is broken/not connected properly...
