Got another PZ8 to play with... this time it's a 46". Very nice. PZ82, comet (retail store) special edition with no difference to standard PZ80.

2 blinks after pressing power button. Boots otherwise OK into standby.

And........... it's the 1uF cap on the MC201/MC301. Bit of freeze spray & powered right up with crystal clear picture.

Seems 10 blinks is a lot more common. But 2 blinks can also be that cap. Note that 2 blinks can also be blown fuse and Vsus transistors but luckily that's not the case this time.

cool a nice easy fix then i wish i could find more of these plasmas around faulty lcd/plasma sets have dried up here in warwickshire lately.

I paid £46 for this, bargain price for what it is, included stand and remote & in mint condition.

Have already got a 46" PZ80 so this will be sold.

Yes got lucky on this one on eBay, won it very cheap for what it is. Came with stand and remote, in fantastic condition.

cool thought so by the odd price haha suppose not a bad idea if there local i guess.
