The strange thing on yours is that it does not have any error codes, the other OP has 13x, THEN 14X codes.
I am stumped right on both TVs.

Lol. Well mine all of a sudden when I plug it in automatically tries to power up which usually says something about the main board. I'm thinking I'm gonna have to replace the main board cause looking at it the cable goes into the main board and it looks like the traces go straight to the chip. Here is a pict

I also noticed on my power supply coming from te main board the inv err pin is reading .379v. I'm not sure what that's supposed to read or what this circuit does?

Invr error:
LO (<1V) = normal
HI (>3V) = bad
The signal is generated from IC6703 PIN 13 on the D5 inverter board.

Thx. Yea they are testing good at less then a v. I'm gonna say the processor on the main board.

BTW, the backlights signals can also be locked out by Q6711/6712/6714 if the LD signal goes low or there is problem with Q6711/6712/6714.
There are so many signals that can lock out the other signals.

So check this out. I think I know why my tv isn't working. I checked the part numbers A1650549A and another number on the board 1-879-020-13. Plugged it into shop jimmy.com and on a bestbuy part search site and it comes up for a kdl40s5100 not a kdl52s5100. So either the guy I bought this from bought the wrong main board or something is very weird with this tv.
