Hello to all,
I recently joined the forum in hopes that someone can point me in the right direction.
I own a 2006 Philips 42PF7321D/37 plasma which I rarely used, the set was operating fine with absolutely no issues and now the unit do not power on.
I have searched, read and looked into the most common issues with this unit being the capacitors going bad and having to change them.
My issue now that I have removed to back cover to expose all the PCB to exam all the common issues area and found all of the capacitors are perfect(visually) no bulging state.
I also checked for any loose pins/connectors and any other obvious signs like burned out fuse and found none.
I am suspecting at this point that the power supply board is burned out, if so what are my choices at this point?
thank you in advance.
P.S. unlike most common issues related to/with this unit I have had absolutely no issues prior to the unit not turning on at this point. Perfect picture, no blinking lights, audio is perfect
. No tardiness on shutting off or on.
