I have taken many voltage readings on both original and replacement main boards and IR sensor boards.

      Here are the results:

Voltage results are in pin order (1-5).

      Original main board.

The only significant difference in voltage in the pin 4 voltage reading. The difference in readings readings between the original main board and the the replacement main board is what the TV is doing. The original main board was only displaying the no input signal message and the replacement main board was displaying the first time setup wizard.

The joystick button is on the main board.

It's hard to tell exactly what you have done as to the suggestions, so if you have not, do exactly this for my test. take batteries out of remote, hold on/off button on remote down for 1 whole minute let go, then push ALL the other buttons several times give them good pushes not just light, unplug tv from power, hold the power on/joystick whatever button the tv has down for 30 seconds, wait 2 minutes, plug tv back in, put batteries back in remote and try it. If still the same try a universal remote, just see if it will power on the tv, we just want to see if a remote can communicate with the tv.

Yea, I think you need a new remote. Good luck 🤞🤞

I can not help if tests are not performed and reported, it just makes it too hard. Remote troubleshooting is pretty much working in the blind, so you need very precise communication and directions followed.

                1. The motherboard was replaced with another one from a different TV model with a different code for the remote control
                2. A software was rewritten from another model of TV using another model of remote control
                3. Use a programmable TV remote control (memorized codes).

I was also thinking this too i wonder if the owner swapped the mainboard out themselves when that did not fix it , they took it to a repair shop now psu sorted now the tv is now having this issue as wrong mainboard

I've had this happen also on a Sony. Got the right board in and it was fixed.

This TV was working until the issue with the power supply board occurred. The main board and the ir sensor board are (to the best of my knowledge) the one from the factory and are "paired" together. The replacement main board and sensor boards are quite possible not.

FYI: I am the repair shop.

Thanks, that's why I suggested testing those signals.

Pioneer VSX-522-K remote control not working???
                              by tmhobadcap
I have this receiver for at least 10 years. Usually, we just use the remote for turning on/off and adjusting the volume. Recently, the remote control started not able to turn the receiver on. Later, the volume also could not be adjusted by the remote control.

At first, I thought that it was the usual problem which can be fixed by cleaning the contacts on the switches and the pcb. I opened the remote and clean it with alcohol. The remote did work again after that. But after one day, it did not work again. I opened it again and clean with alcohol and contact cleaner. Again it worked...

Panasonic tx-40cx400b not responding to remote control
                              by Chrissygizmo
                              Hi all

I've just repaired the backlights on this tv. I didn't get a remote with it so I'm using a universal one. The tv works properly via the buttons on the back but the only remote command it registers is the power off. It will power on if I try immediately after switching off, if I leave it until the standby light stops blinking then it won't turn on again from the remote.
I don't think the remote is at fault as I've got other remotes that do exactly the same thing.
Any help would be really appreciated....

                              Thank you...

Old Privileg 5.1 speakers remote control question
                              by piipo
Hi, I have an old Privileg brand 5.1 speakers. I have lost the remote control. I have an universal Harmony remote but there is no Privileg brand in it's software to add. Does anybody have an idea what alternative brand for a remote can I try instead? I'm attaching an image of what the speakers looks like. The image shows 2 main speakers, they are 5 + 1 in total. Thank you very much

Samsung SyncMaster 740n Phase Control Issue
                              by vincentedel
                              Hello,
I'm having an issue with the Samsung 740n's phase control setting. When I use the automatic adjustment, it sets the value to around 54 (with a range of 0-100), and the picture looks clear and sharp. However, after some time—like after playing a game—the text starts to look blurry. When I auto-adjust again, it may increase the value to 80, and everything becomes sharp once more. Yet, after a while, whether it's a few hours or a day later, the same blurriness returns, and I have to adjust it again.

I'm using the Samsung 740n monitor drivers instead of the default plug-and-play...

                              Hello Everyone,

Hope everyone is enjoying their repairs at hand!.

I am looking forward to get the schematic of Denon remote control RC1156. Actually long time no use of the remote leaked the battery thereby corroding few parts as well as the tracks.

I was able to join few of them but the remote is still not working, so i am looking forward for your help, in case anyone understand the schematic or the remote circuit diagram and could me assist me in repairing it.

Please refer to the attached picture, i think the voltage divider is missing...
