    Samsung QE50Q60AA - Reboot loop

I have a QE50Q60AA that won't stay on - when turning it on, it makes the sound and reboots right after (sound is ok).
Disconnecting the LVDS cable stops the restart loop but no image.
I tried the tape method mentioned in other threads in many variations, but I couldn't get it to properly work (either reboot loop, or no image).
Tested the caps on the left buffer board, no beeps.

    What else can be checked?

Does this have diode packs? Show pictures of full buffer boards. And how many pins are you blocking with tape at a time?

No diode packs, attached full board.
I tried many variations, among this: https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...95#post1840595

Is this damage in the picture? On the ribbon.

But if above don't work, you are probably screwed. There isn't much of a solution for these yet that I've seen on here for the Samsung reboot besides diode pack/tape and occasionally bad caps on buffers.

That side of the ribbon does have a bit of a bend on the side but it doesn't look damaged.

As for the the tape method, wanted to make sure, those are the pins the need to be masked?

You have these test points on each strip, disconnect the U - cable and the LVDS cable and check the resistance on them relative to ground and relative to each other (that is, 1 to 2, 1 to 3, 1 to 4, ... 2 to 3 , 2 from 4,... and so on with everyone).

I sampled the CK* against ground they seem ok but will double check tomorrow.
I am concerned about VGH that measured ~80M while on the other board it measures 5K.
Assuming that's the culprit do I mask only VGH?

Found the mapping on this post https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...58#post1786858

You need to check not only with respect to the ground, but also with each other, and there will be many options there.

Generally you move the tape around and try different spots.

if you have oscilloscope or frquency meter you can measure CLK / CKx lines, them have to be around 15khz maybe, plus STV around 100hz, LC1,LC2 i don't know.. check.also their voltage
