I changed the LCD panel configuration to 8 bit and now it works perfectly!

Some additional information: I had used LVDS cables from ALIexpress with the LG connectors on the panel side. As this panel has 2 connectors I needed two cables, one with 51 pins, the other with 41 pins. Unfortunately for one of them I could not find cables with 5 data pairs, so I have 4 data pairs for two LVDS channels on one connector and 5 data pairs for also two LVDS channels on the other connector. This leads to first LVDS Receiver Signal E +/- and second LVDS Receiver Signal E +/- are not connected, while for third and fourth LVDS Receiver Signal E +/- are connected.
Could this be...

Finally I found another binary on a Russian website and the first impression of the image is pretty good. However when using a test image of colored squares on black background I can now clearly see vertical lines. It is pretty difficult to find out at what distance, I am guessing something like every 16th colomn or so. A picture looks pretty good, so I should be in the right LVDS (VESA / JEIDA) mode.
I did have to make the LVDS cable between the chinese driver board and the LCD panel myself, so I could have some error in that cable.
Any ideas, what is the problem here ?...

You are talking about the ceramic capacitors visible in those pictures ?
Two more questions: the MOSFETs were blown, but the Diode next to them measures OK. Should that be replaced ?
There are two large electrolytic capacitors 500 V 100 µF. I took them out and they measured within tolerance 9x µF and ~0.4 Ohm ESR, so I soldered them back in. Should those be replaced anyway ?...

Samsung QE 75 Q 7 FGMTZG Power Supply dead
Hi, have this Samsung QE 75 Q 7 FGMTZG TV with no function. First analysis shows the power supply board is dead and fuse blown. Power Supply has the number BN94-11439A. I did short circuit test transistor and diodes and those do not appear to have shorts. I must admit I did not look at every single data sheet.
In the TV was some black dust residue, so probably one of the electrolytic caps blew, but they do not show short either.
Does anyone have schematics for that board ?
Any good tip, what could be the issue ?

found on a russian website an image for the following Monitor:
AOC G2460Pqu
main 715G5121-M01-000-005F
cpu MST8757T
panel M240HW01 V.8
MX25L1605_U402
24_02_U101
24_02_U104
24_02_U112
The panel is a 1920 x 1080 @ 120 Hz LCD panel, but when I flash that image, I see the AOC logo flickering on the screen, but never get an image of my HDMI source.
I am surprised to see, that the serial flash is smaller than the one on my board.
Any tips ?

Hi, I had a GU58TU7199 TV, where a source COF starts to fail, so I was not worried about any damage the test could do. I have a MB from a GQ50Q60AA, which I had already thrown away, since it had a punctured source COF (someone apparently tried to open the TV and damaged the FlexPCB). While mechanically the two different MBs are very different, the connector for the power supply was identical and both had the 96 pin single FlexPCB to the panel scalar board. I connected the board and can see a picture. Did not do extensive tests, but first impression seems to indicate, that this works.

MSTAR MST8757T Flash images
Hi all,
I had saved a 42 inch LG Display LC420WUD (SB)(M4), which is a 1920x1080 @ 120 Hz LCD from a Loewe TV.

I bought a chinese driver board and manufactured cables to hook it up.

I am pretty puzzled by what I found now: From the 96 pin connector VGH goes directly to R44 and here I still measure 24.6 V. The VGH test point however seems to be connected through a trace to the very left of the scalar board and than directly to the Panel. So it seems like there is a short in the panel between VGH and VSS/VGL ?...

install different version Samsung motherboard
Hi, many Samsung TVs seem to use the same 96 pin connector to the panel scalar board and apparently for multiple generations the pinout seems to be identical. I have several KS series TVs, that work well, but e.g. do not support Apple Airplay. Has anyone ever tried putting a motherboard (with the same 96 pin connector) of a later model in, that would have new features ?

Well the disconnect all boards and inject the high current only into the panel to burn through the short. That does not sound so wrong, does it ?

@Diah: I did not understand that last post: "its useless to answer stupid one... then explain to us how the VGL / VGH function via Discharge Pump Converter ( Oscillator ) to switch on off T gate on screen.."
Was that directed at me ?

on the unmodified TV there is a ESD protection diode and above a golden circle test point. The test point and the pad for the ESD protection Diode are connected by a thin trace. I did cut this trace.

CKV Short Killer
Hi, recently I found a lot of videos on YouTube regarding CKV Short Killer. All of those Videos seem to be from Asia (e.g. in Hindi). I could not find a single English Video. Translation on YouTube on those videos does not work well, so it is hard to understand details.
Basically it seems to address the frequent problems of LCD panels, when CKV and CKVB lines have some short and the only fix is to cut those lines or use tape on the ribbon cable to the secondary scalar board of the panel.
Does anyone have any experience with that ?
