Buffer on an LCD? You mean inverter board?

        Pictures would help.
        Do you have a backlight?
        Do you have any image?
2 seconds to black fault is what it sounds like.

                  Thank you.
Now, please turn the TV off and turn it on in a dark room, do you see a flicker from the backlight as the TV first turns on?

OK, now remove the shield from the inverter board. That's the board the white and black cable goes into. Take good clear photos of it; if necessary, split the board into different photos.

Set your meter on ohms 2000 and test each transformer between 1 and 8 and 4 and 5
and post results ( NO POWER TO BOARD)

Set meter on 20000 ohms (20k ohms)
Test across points highlighted. Record reading and post here.
Repeat for all transformers on the board. Pins 5 to 8.

POWER TO INVERTER MUST BE OFF - UNPLUG TV!

Wouldn't surprise me - the transformers in these frequently fail.

Yes - meter on 20000ohms must be inflation!! the 2016 is just over 2000 so if this is the same would be off scale!

The one which has been replaced you do not get any difference from probes not touching?
I would check it is soldered right - if so it might be a dodgy part or bad luck.

                                          Hi All
I have a problem with SSD on 820-3662-03.
Have tried to put in m.2 but still no ssd in disktool.
It works with external usb hd.
Maybe there is a problem with C3710 to C3717 on motherboard? (have seen it in another thread in this forum) but I cannot locate it on the board, so i can messure it.
Is there an expert in here, that have seen it before, or have any other idears.
                                          Thanks in advance.

Samsung LE37R87BD tv text remaining on screen

I have a Samsung LE37R87BD tv has strange issue, firstly caps on power board was buldging so generall clicking on/off taking 20 mins to turn on. Replaced these and tv powers up as it should, but now Im noticing the text is staying on the screen and slowly goes away, also screen is darker than it was before the power issues, I was going to replace the T-con board and possibly the inverter, was just seeking a little advice before doing so as worst case maybe the panel going and dont wasnt to go to the expense of replacing boards if this is the case.

Thanks in advance of an answer
