Tv powers on and has backlights but no picture. All voltages from power supply to main board are correct.

Try disconnect panel ribbon on buffer board, 1 side at a time. You have 2 orange ribbons at bottom of tv, do one at a time and plug in, turn on tv see if you get 2/3 of a picture on either side when doing this. Make sure to disconnect the ribbon from the middle buffer board to avoid shorting the ribbon cables when you turn on tv.Comment

You do not have any supply voltage to the panel, check what the resistance is at these points relative to the ground, first with the panel disconnected, then with the panel connected.Comment

Panel disconnected
HVDD to ground 10.5 megaohm
AVDD to ground 38.3 kilohm
VGHP to ground 62.5 kilohm
VGL_GOP to ground 7.86 kilohm
Panel connected
HVDD to ground 136kilohm
AVDD to ground 35.26 kilohm
VGHP to ground 50.4 kilohm
VGL_GOP to ground 7.81 kilohm
While taking resistance readings the test points would either start higher and then decrease until leveling off or else vice versa.

I checked those points indicated relative to ground and each other and they all read as infinity.
. Does the t-con board itself monitor the panel voltages and shut them down due to a fault or does the motherboard do that.
I believe the t-con board itself produces the panel voltages so is probably responsible for monitoring them and turning them on or shutting them down.
. Is it safe to say the problem is with the t-con or panel as apposed to the mainboard or just to soon to tell yet.Comment

by Tr0llHi guys! I realized you have a lot of knowledge here so i am hoping you could point me in right direction with my odd issue.
The Tv is a Philips 58PUS8545/12, it had no picture but working backlights.
Original T-con:
Opened the Tv and tested to unplug one ribbon cable at a time. With this test i could see that i got fine picture on both halves as long as there was only one ribbon cable connected, with two connected picture were gone.
First replacement T-con:
I thought it might be t-con and ordered new t-con from china(supposedly tested)... -
I have a TCL 55P6US with sound and backlight but no picture. This model does not have a T-CON board, and the right (rear perspective) panel board is fed from the left panel board. I have not been able to induce any change by disconnecting the secondary panel board or the tape cut-off method on the primary board.
There are a bunch of voltages missing on the panel boards. I can't find any shorted caps of the panel boards, and all of the missing voltage rails read in the kiloohms, which leads me to suspect the issue may lie on the circuit board, rather than a short in the panel.

by CapacitorialHello guys,
I have a Philips 240B7QPJEB. The monitor seems completely dead.
I opened it and measured the voltages of the powersupply. I found that a mosfet was dead and replaced it.
On the connector, that goes to the TCON board, all voltages 15-19V and 5V are present.
The small connector on the left of the PSU has two cables with 18V and all the other have 0.2V. It connects on this small connector on the left ontop of the panel. I guess the backlight? Seens fine I guess.
The weird thing is, that the Power LED is powered over the TCON board.
On The TCON...-

by MgiffuneI have a 60 inch Samsung UN60EH6000F flatscreen TV. The screen went black a few months ago Sound is good, backlight is good, no menu. I replaced the TCon board with a used board purchased from Ebay. It worked fine for a 3-4 months, then the screen started ‘fading' back. Once again, sound is good, backlight is good, no menu. However, this time the picture looks fine for about 10-15 minutes, then fades back. If I power cycle the TV, the display reappears, for another 10-15 minutes, then fades black again. Repeatable ever time.
I ordered a supposedly ‘new' Tcon board this time, and... -
by CyberPhoenixHello, Last week I bought the 50" Sony X80j tv everything was working fine, untill I plugged the tv in a ups power supply 650va the tv remote control became unresponsive and the TV became laggy after a while the picture quality isn't the same as before the tv seems less brighter and the picture is somehow blurry, people's faces don't look as natural as before, there is a mini orange-pink tint to the edge of people's faces especially in NETFLIX Dolby Vision like in One Piece ep1 Alvida skin tone, my intention was to protect the tv but something went wrong I checked the ups with a multimeter,...
