In the x06 series bad caps were causing ripple on the regulator feeding the eeprom sometimes causing corruption and ??? To appear in the eepron version in the display.

I can get an 807 local for $60 but it may need a reflow of the dts chip but reball is better and I don't have the tools for that. Still debating.

I actually do have a question, does your mainboard have a LED status light what color does it illuminate when you turn it on or apply power? your LG lay out is very similar to the 42LH50-UC unit I am currently trying to figure out!

I have already sold the TV a half a year ago, and I don't remember if it had a status LED. Sorry about that. You should ask this question, in the other thread.

Has anyone figured out what is failing on these LG Main Boards? I hate to buy a 'new' used board to have it just fail again in two years.
