model number is ue55d653owk it's a samsung led, turns on fine but 3/4 of picture is funny colour very dark can't make picture out and the 1/4 that's left is fine?? Sound is all fine just the picture

Any ideas ? it's not my tv a friends it's only 2 years old but I suspect panel again !

Pic of TV?
I am going to say bad panel is a possibility though wouldn't rule out an LED backlight fault.
(sorry! I am sure you would like better news...)
