So do I assume the buffers are ok? I hate to replace the Ysus just to have it blow again cause the buffers are bad.Comment

And they say to replace both Ysus and Xsus at the same time but I think the Xsus is ok.Comment

Ok I got a used Ysus off ebay and the voltage on VSC is -188.7v , when I power it on I get nothing on the screen. When I check voltages on the pins that go into the buffer board the first 2 pins on the first connecter CN5003 I get -35.4v and the third pin is a continuous MV reading, all other pins read -160.4v and CN5002 and CN5001 are all -160.4v. Any suggestions what to look at next?Comment

I unplugged the buffer board and checked pin voltages, the first 2 go from a negative -35.4v to a positive 22.4v with the 3rd pin doing the same with a continuous moving MV reading ,all other pins read -115.5vComment

Have you checked the Y buffer to see if its grounding,from + to - at the plug from the Y main.Comment

Hi All,
I am having an issue with my Vizio M65-C1 where it does not turn on. When I plug it in the stand by light on bottom left of screen turns on (white) then fades away. If I press the power button it turn back on and then fades until it is super dim.
When I remove cover, there are no illuminated leds on the main board, I've seen others with a red/blue led that turns on.
I've done some research and what is interesting is my voltages all seem slightly different from other people. For example +5/3.5v is 3.48V when on which is different from others on here.... -
Hello, i have some issues with my laptop Lenovo Y700-17ISK (motherboard BY511 NM-A541), it started when i turn on the laptop, but the lcd wont turn on, i then connected it via hdmi to tv and screen was ok. So i thought maybe lcd stripe is faulty, i removed the bottom cover, disconnected main battery, reset the cmos by disconnecting battery for 1 min, then slighty move the lcd stripe. Conncted power supply and tuned on my laptop, the lcd turn on, it started to load os, then it turn off, after a second it turn on, then after like 3 seconds turn off again, and so on. Let me tell you a little bit about what happened to my laptop (MSI GF63 THIN 11UCX model: MS-16R6) that “maybe” you know how to solve this problem.
So before this problem happened, my laptop was running smoothly. When I wanted to restart my laptop, it looked fine at first. But after I waited for this restart process to take a long time, until finally I panicked (because the restart process did not finish plus the laptop screen only showed a black screen), I immediately pressed and held the power button to force the laptop to turn off. I have a LG 50PJ550 plasma that will not power on.
When plugged in, the relays click and the screen lights briefly before the relays click again and it shuts right down. It then tries starting up again before giving up and just sits there with the red LED on. Pressing the power button again repeats the process.
During the moment where the screen is on, there is a slight fuzz that starts to go away as most plasma's do when they turn on. So i do not think it is a panel issue as I get a normal looking image for a split second.

Hello, I have an Acer Aspire 4520 from a couple of decades ago and I want to repair it solely for nostalgia.
It happens that when I turn it on after having been disconnected for a long time, it turns on without problems, it tells me that the BIOS has been reset and that it will load the factory settings, if I tell it to continue, the computer turns on and everything works fine.
