i have a icp250 3aoosmt. resister. specks says .15ohms i think. i get .2 could this be the cause of my sub power supply not clicking on and supplying power to the main power supply

Re: lg 60pc1d-ul. resister
That is OK since your meter probe wire resistance is added to the resistance of the resistor. Touch your probe together to see what you read, that will be your probe resistance, that number will be added to the value of the resistor you are measuring. These low value resistor, when it is bad or blown up, it goes open circuit (high resistance).Never stop learning

by cind12Hi guys, i was wondering, i've got 9Ohms on Vmem, one of the mosfet was shortet to ground, so i've desoldered hi and low mosfets nad still low res, then i removed all of the memory chips, and the resistance is still low, so did you had maybe a card with that low res on memories, and the card was working fine ?
Removed the U1866Q and still without result, i dont have thermal cam so can't see where is hot spot when incjeting voltage.
The resistance on core is ok 0.1Ohm ((Power 0.8V when on)
Resistance on 12V 4K ohms (Power present when on)
Resistance on 12V PEX 4K ohms... -
by JaneI tried to use this method:
Testing an N-channel MOSFET:
Step 1: Discharge the Gate (turn off the MOSFET)
Place the black probe (COM) on the Source (S) and the red probe on the Drain (D). The multimeter should show no continuity (high resistance or "OL" – open line).
Then, touch the black probe to the Source (S) and the red probe to the Gate (G). This discharges any stored charge in the Gate, turning the MOSFET off.
Step 2: Charge the Gate (turn on the MOSFET)
Now, place the red probe on the Gate (G) and the black probe on the...09-27-2024, 03:31 AM -
by Nagy DanielHi, I'm Daniel, and I'm new to the world of repairing motherboards.
I would like to create a table, or more likely a guideline about the voltage rails and their possible resistance rail.
I know that the motherboard design has a very big depend on the rail's resistance, but I would like to know what is the smallest value for a rail that can be acceptable. For example, I heard that some new gaming motherboards can have 0,5 Ohm resistance on the GPU rail, but on an older type, it could be a sign of a shorted GPU rail.
So, I generated a table with AI so I can... -
by perfm2I couldn't find anywhere on the internet where someone had discussed actually using one of these newer wson8 probes for flashing your Wson8 BIOS chip without removing it from the MB.
I recently ordered one to give it a shot and it actually worked quite well.
The tricky part is obviously keeping the probe pins in place on the exposed Wson8 pads of the MB while reading/writing.
I used a larger binder clip attached to the top of the probe to create a large flat surface, then added about 1lb of weight to it.
This aided greatly in allowing the probe to stay in place... -
by JaneI have Asus FA506 ( board DA0BKXMB8D0 Rev: D). Can you please roughly indicate what the lowest resistance I should measure on a coil? I know that a low resistance is allowed on coils in CPU or graphic circuits but can you provide acceptable values of resistance?
Thank you. - Loading...
