    phillips 42pf7321D -won't come on

I replaced 2 caps back in 2010..and problems begin again
This time it seems different,no flashing red lights. The screen flickered a couple times then went black.I unplugged it for the night and the next time I plug in,green LED comes on for about 10-15 sec then goes back off.Going to take it apart and see if it is same problem as last time...
In the meantime,I ran across a craigslist ad for a 51" Samsung plasma that has sound but the screen is cracked.I'm not sure of model# yet,but would this be a possible source for parts for my phillips if my problem isn't bad caps?
    again,Thanks in advance for help

No nothing usable in that 51 inch. Disconnect both upper and lower buffer board and then plug it in. Does it stay on? Of course there will be no picture although.
Did I leave the soldering iron on?

This model is known for buffer and y sustain problems.

Unplugged upper and lower and it stays on..there's a green light that flashes 3 times on the big board right in middle of tv.

Also tried just unplugging Y sustain(big board) and it stays on.. Sounds like I need to replace all 3?

No, put one buffer in at a time, start with top. Power up tv.. Does the top half show? Is the picture normal?? If no picture, take top out, put in bottom, do you see any light? Note: if bottom board is in by itself without top buffer, there will be no pic, but you will see the screen glow.

That light flashing 3 times.. Is that on the main power supply? This is the big board where the mains 120v connect to. If so, is that flashing 3 times without the y sustain plugged in as well? While this is happening do you have a solid green power indicator on the front of the tv?
