I noticed this morning that the number for the channel and the input menu are both at the far left of the screen in the proper place they should be. Every other menu and screen is shifted to the right.Comment

I would say you've pretty much confirmed that the wrong main board is installed, the seller obviously mixed the two up, first I would ask if he has the 43" main board if not I would return it for a refund and buy one from shopjimmy or another place.Please do not PM me with questions! Some boards are compatible between models, some are not. Try following the instructions given already in this thread and report back your findings.Comment

If you haven't yet installed the board there's no way to tell. A board may have many part numbers only one usually specific for your model.Comment

You can't use 42" board in 50" or vice versa, you will have to send it back and try getting a matching one. Please do not PM me it is not an emergency and there are others on here that want help. In general I don't like PMs asking me to answer a question.
Post a question on the forum:
1) I am not infallible and can make a mistake, others should call me out if I do;
2) Others can benefit from help in the future;
3) I am not a private help service, I do this when I have the time. PMs in this respect are kind of rude, in that it's sort of like you're trying to jump the queue for help. I'll reply whenever I can, but time is limited. If you PM me, I have to take time to say create a thread/post, or a long rant like this, when I could have been doing something more useful.
For some users that are particularly helpful (there's quite a few) point (3) is not applicable as I'm happy to allow queue-skipping there.
I generally have stopped replying to some users on this forum who purely ask and never help back in return. They are the ones doing it for business uses only... they know who they are. Hello everyone, I’ve just been given a Samsung UE55JU6800K smart tv as it had white spots on the screen due to the led lenses falling off. After refitting them & putting the tv back together I thought it was a nice easy fix for a free bedroom tv , then I tried it before screwing the back into place. I realised that the right side of the screen was darker than the other side, I removed the screen again as I thought the backlights had failed but they are fine.
I put the screen back in place & turned it back on . The screen seemed to be ok again but different screens on the same... -
Hi , I've recently replaced the screen in my Samsung galaxy ao2s, at first it wouldn't even turn on, it had the charging symbol on the screen when plugged in but the green circle wasn't going around to show it charging....
Ive eventually managed to get it on and working but it's very temperamental...
The battery icon always reads as 50% , when the phone goes into lock screen mode i sometimes can't get the screen back on unless I plug the charger in to get it to light up, also it keeps putting the camera app on.. u think it could be something to do with the side buttons. ...05-26-2024, 12:05 AM -

Hello everybody! Posting this in hopes somebody has some expertise that leads to a clear path of troubleshooting that saves me a lot of time!
My macbook has the flex cable problem, the one that prevents the screen turning on. Ive been dealing with this for the last 3 years. Last year it went dead and I managed to fix it following youtube tutorials. But my fix wasnt the best, the problem returned a month later. This week, it went dead again. I again tried to fix it.
This time the original cable broke too close to the screen, it can't be fixed without tearing the screen... -
Have a Samsung UN50NU7400 which shows a boot screen and a screen saver if left on long enough but no picture ?
Would a moving screen saver confirm that the panel is ok or it could still be a panel issue ?
