52 kdl-52w5100 picture problem

TV is a Sony 52 kdl-52w5100,

This is my buddy's TV and he thinks i can help him so what they hey. The TV works in every way except the bottom 3/4 of the screen has a slightly distorted picture along with ghosting but it fades from right to left? I know he had the TV like this for a while and sent it my way when that 3/4 of the screen went completely black and he couldn't get it back on til he brought it to me?

He has 2 T-Con boards and both show the same picture so i don't think that is the problem but i could be wrong, i tested the power going to the T-Con board and it reads 12v like is should according to the power supply labeling.

I have searched forums, images, you name it i cannot find anything like this so any help is greatly appreciated.

The pictures aren't great and they all show the same thing but i wanted to show a few examples of it.

Do you see double images when you put up the user menu on the screen?

Nope, I also did a factory reset, check for update it said it didn't need one & had the TV do a self diagnostics and nothing.

This line that fades is in the same spot even if i change the aspect ratio could this be the main board?

I have found one on craigslist-Inland Empire a couple of weeks ago, but that one had that three quarter screen all black and only the upper portion had a good picture.
I have asked then, but nobody has answered.

I'm wondering, it can't be that the side tabs causing this issue? There are no burned marks on those tabs?

I am not sure because the schematic i found i can't quite understand how to take off the front bezel to look at those tabs but i did a small flex test with my hands and cold sprayed it and nothing
