which is the eeprom on samsung BN94-00963E main board?

pasting my question from the other thread someone started from a slightly different tv. I just need to know which is the eeprom if someone knows.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

hey Guys, Im new to posting but have always found my answers here and never really need to post after searching. Now i need to post. Like the OP here I am having similar issues but with a samsung LCD LNS4041dx/xxa. replaced the caps that were bad and power supply is giving all correct voltages so I suspect the main boards eeprom needs a jump. But with all the 8 leg chips that look similar on both the front and back of the board i just cant seem to figure out which one to jumper. most from what I have read say to its the chip reading 24cxxx on the back of the board. Only chip I have with 24cxxx anything printed on it is on the front of the board about an inch above the usb service connector. Am I safe to assume that this is the eeprom? Main Board number is BN94-00963E. Any Help would be greatly appreciated

That is a great resource to have thanks so much budm but I am more confused now. the eprom location on the guide is not what is on my board anywhere that I can find.
i have several 8 legged chips but only 1 labeled "atmel 630 24c256bn su18" the others have wp numbers so can I assume this is the right chip. it is located at IC203 on the front of the main board (the guide says it is located at ic112 but i dont have a 112 anywhere that I can find)

well beiung A.D.D. and inpateint as I am I decided that I would go ahead and try jumping what seemed to be the only chip that was labeled like an EEprom...after some difficult soldering of a jumper wire (i really wish my hands were steadier) i fired her up cut the wire after a second and she fired right up right back to the regular input she was left on when she died. all settings even seem to be the same.
For anyone that is looiking for the info, the EEprom on this board is at location IC203 about 1 inch above the usb port that is used for servicing the tv.
Thanks again budm as without that manual I probably would not have risked doing this at all.
        cheers guys.

Glad to hear that you got it figure out, I myself never run into the EEPROM problem yet, lucky me.
BTW, which pins are needed to soldered the wired too?

Sceptre U550CV-UMR 4K LED, Bad Caps on Main Power Board?
                    by Dani_2024
Hi and thanks in advance for any input you might provide!
I have a Sceptre U550CV-UMRD8POTV83BB 4K LED (this is a dumb tv) that I bought new in August 2021, so It's just completed 3 years.
Main power board model: TP.MS3683.PC821 T-Con board: N4TP546UHDPU2L_BO

Last Sunday I was watching a dvd and fell asleep for about half hour, when I awoke the tv screen was black and couldn't get the dvd menu to show, so I changed the input to antenna and had sound but no picture, turned it off. I then got online and found this great site! ....read many troubleshooting tips and this...

                    Samsung UN75RU8000FXZA bad main board?
                    by Lee M.
When plugged in it will click and cycle the BL on and off, no pic and does not respond to remote. When I disconnect the cable from the PS board to the main board and then plug it in the BL will come on and stay on. There are only two boards in this set, the LVDS cables from the panel driver boards connect directly to the main board. Since the BL comes on and stays on I'm thinking the PS board is ok and the problem is on the main board. Should I order another main board or do I need to do more testing? thanks, Lee

                    Sony xbr-65x900c main board issues?
                    by jb_Bak
Hey guys great forum glad to have found it. I bought a Sony XBR 65X900C cheaply because it didn't work. No signs of life at all not even a light/led. All I hear is a brief high voltage sound when I throw the power to it.

Didn't see any obvious signs of damage so right away started checking voltages. This is what I see:
Power Board Connector that goes to Main board
                    CN6401
                    Pin 01 NC
                    Pin 02 NC
                    Pin 03 "BL_ON": 0V
                    Pin 04 "N/C"
                    Pin 05 "STBY 3.3V": 3.5V
                    Pin 06 "GND": N/C
                    Pin 07 "AC_OFF"...

Hi, this is my personal laptop, which the original board (lets call it Board A) blew up PU8700 (TPS51486), making a hole on the board, i had left the laptop at my desk one day with the battery fully charged and didn't touch it for a week, but when i tried to turn it on it didn't
Thought the battery was dead, so i plugged in the charger then tried to power on, the power LED blinked once, charged LED still orange, unplugged the charger, plugged in again and I noticed the "magic smoke" smell, so i unplugged the charger, removed the back cover and saw the blown IC (the "magic...

Is it possible to upgrade from a Vestel 17MB97 main board to a 17MB110 Main board?
                    by cheeky2
I suppose the real question is whether the existing pinouts from ether a 17IPS71 psu are cross compatible with a 17IPS12 psu? If they are then the exchange of the main boards should have no issues providing the screen is compatible with both main boards. Obviously you can change the screen configurations easily enough (providing you have the correct files) for the main board. Why may you ask would I do this? Well a lot of the smart features are no longer working on a Hitachi 48HBT62U main board I wish to give it a new lease of life!
Obviously the same LVDS connector for the screen connection...
