When it fails to turn on do you notice any power light blinking or such? If so, count the blinks between each pause.

Like Tom asks, blink code? The C2 series SS boards seem to short out , Check for shorted Vsus line on TNPA5072 SS, Q001,Q002,Q021,Q022 short, RJP30E4 IGBTs.

Could be SC, need more info.

Usually if SC LED lights up the MID ERC voltage is good so it is sustaining the panel at least briefly, unlikely to be dead short SC.

Yeah, I'm expecting SS most likely. Too soon to call. Could be a number of things.

Massive electrical storm here 3am, yippee. Who needs sleep?

If I disconnect c1 and c2 data drivers the light on sc board stays on and my 15 volts don't go away

You may have a bad panel. Try repeating the test but with each ribbon going to the panel isolated and C boards both connected. If it doesn't die then power off, connect some ribbons randomly, repeat until you isolate the failed one. If one is failed, the panel is toast, unfortunately...
