    Re: panasonic th-p46x20m

Probably going to be a tough one to get but here's my tips. On the surface it's looking like a 720P HD 2010 Model. I have an Australian 2010, 42X20A, one of my few failures but inside yours I'm expecting a TNPA5072AB SS board, they commonly fail shorting Vsus in the 42" at least.

    I'm expecting a SN board(combined SC,SD,SU) TNPA5066 no Rev stamp.

If it has these, hopefully the A-board PCB number will be TNPH0831 (Mine is not)
and that would make the US model service manual for a TC-P46C2 of some use.

I had no luck tracking down a training guide for this generation, i found one In Thai for TH-P50/42X20T,TH-P42A20T and found it near impossible to use even using a translator.

So maybe identify what boards you have especially the A-board and try a search on that and see if you get any hits. I would use the PCB number only with no revision suffix.

Rarely do I find Australian model manuals but you can still get an idea from closely related models in other markets.

      Re: panasonic th-p46x20m

      thanks for answering.
      my power supply is LSEP1287.
      A BOARD IS TNPH0842.
NOTICE -when pushing mian switch can see that the 5v come back to the p.s but no clicks no stby led.
checking the A board and i can thn mesuer a small resistance 9.6ohms in one of the pwm output that is leading to the big ics i think its wrong becouse other pwmout mesered almost 1k.

Maybe try using a combination of manuals. TNPH0842 (42C20C/50X20C) comes up in the Chinese market, We have 0840 (42/50X20)but i think the TNPH0831 (46C2)is closer. It does not have the main switch on the A board but the rest of it looks very close. the chinese manual at least the schematics and block diagrams are still english.

Do you get any voltage at panel_main_on at power supply when you press power button?
Did I leave the soldering iron on?

Well, I might as well hijack this thread as it appears I have the same problem.
            - 5 VDC standby good
            - No click, no display with Power nor Power Button pressed
            - No voltage at Panel_Main_On when Power Button Pressed

            Thoughts?

              Re: panasonic th-p46x20m

I finally found some more time to check out this TV. I found an IC getting warm on the Power Board (LM7805), obviously 5VDC regulator.

I disconnected the Main Logic board and regulator stopped getting hot.

Focusing on heat, I reconnected the Main Logic board and found IC BD8656FS to be getting warm. I am guessing it is similar to a BD9796FS, but I cannot find any relevant information on the former.

Boom! Found it with help from Panasonic......
                IC = C1ZBZ0004161

Hell if I know what the IC is, but given that IC part number I found this this service manual

                Crossing fingers!

Panasonic TC-P55ST50 8 blinks then no blinks
                    by Andre Gilbert
Hello! yes I know there is already lots of information about this issue. I have a Panasonic TC-P55ST50 that originally displayed an 8-blink error code. Following the troubleshooting flowchart, I ended up replacing the SS board. However, even after replacing it, the issue persists. The TV turns on and stays on without displaying an image, and continuity is confirmed on all connectors. What am I missing here🤔?
Ok Im a mechanical engineer ...but I thought I was able to follow a rather simple flowchart for electric troubleshooting 😂.

Problem with PANASONIC CF53 laptop after changing BIOS settings
                    by AquaMan Ua
Hello. I am asking you for a hint on how to solve the problem with my touchbook Panasonic CF53-2 standart model. After setting up the BIOS, the laptop displays the wrong image until Windows loads. (More precisely, it displays, but distorted, instead of the Panasonic image immediately after turning it on, it displays what is in photo #1 in the attached file) Then the image appears when Windows starts loading and then there are no problems with the screen until the reboot. If you enter the BIOS, just a black screen. If you connect an external screen, the image on it is the same as on the built-in...

Panasonic Toughbook CF-33 mk1 BIOS repair

                    Good day,

I have tried to remove BIOS supervisor password from Panasonic Toughbook CF-33 mk1. Model number CF-33AENABTG, unfortunately I don't have any other info.

I read the BIOS using afuwin, edited it and tried to flash new edited BIOS using afuwin. Unsuccessfully. Afuwin showed "Error: Problem erasing flash." starting with 0x00040000 and stoped. Then I tried many other options to flash BIOS from Windows without any luck. Finally i rebooted the device - and no post. Afterwards I have read the corrupted bios chip (MX25L12873F) using EZP2010 programmer....
