I was just looking at that site as well. I found the original replacement for Q601 and Q660 on digikey (out of stock) and one that I think is close enough- minor differences in gate charge and input capacitance. No suitable replacement for the 6065 I could find, Might just have to order from that other site, just trying to decide if I want a quick fix or a complete rebuild. Went through checkout and they want 20$ for shipping.....Hate it when they rip you for shipping
Yeah, that's going to put it up to half of just buying the kit. I can't decide either. Hate waiting for a cheaper board to pop up. Could be a while.
I'm a little worried about using an alternate part for that one. Looks like its a proprietary chip that Panasonic uses on their plasmas. I just checked two newer Panasonic sustains I have here but no dice on that particular IC.

Also found D652 (8894) shorted as well
I can't seem to locate this one to check.
Found it. Seems to be ok on mine.

Reason: Located Part
Yes I used the jumper to test the buffers, did you have the link to that other thread? I was looking over the schematic last night and was noticing this diode was tied into the drain of two fets so I was kinda expecting at least one of them to be blown. Im going to try and fix this at the component level as I cant really justify sinking 200$ into this tv, if I can get it to pass the self test I will buy some buffers for it. At least I have a schematic for this one I will test out all the components around that vsus circuit.
No luck, may have been a closely related model with similar design. I tried the board number nothing looked familar.
I may have some data for the parts identification and suggestions. Probably find some are obsolete and replaced with updated equivalents but this is one of the battles trying to find them without blowing the budget.
I would not rely on purely a kit to solve all issues.
Thanks for the recommendation. I've asked for a quote. So far at least on my board it seems as though just these parts are bad. I may take the plunge and try them. Will keep everyone updated. I believe the board Caleb is working with took a much worse hit.
Saw that one. It's an auction though so who knows what it will go for. Regardless, I don't want to be in over $100 for one if I buy the whole board. What's hard to believe is the very similar sets with SC boards at a fraction of the cost.
Or this one. It looks so much alike I'm tempted to buy it just to see if it has the parts I need. Maybe I could find the schematic for it and compare parts.
Yep. No luck on my end either. Looks like this is the closest match appearance wise but I haven't found a parts list yet. See this one for as cheap as $25.
Really appreciate the assistance. With the time I've spent so far I might as well have just sold the other boards in the set and called it a wash. Guess that's 1/2 the fun thought right?
