Yeah, it's probably the rightmost IC on that image.

What is part # on it? Looks like only one chip so only need to replace that.

              OK, then this should do:
              http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/IR-IRU3037...item53f505b5ac

May want to get second one as it can be difficult to solder.

One pin to check: pin 1 to pin 4, DC20V scale. If IRU3037 is working well, it should be around 1.25V +/-5%. If not, it will be lower or higher.

Not sure about how to check the 1 to 4 pin with the board off the tv ?

It needs to be checked with board installed & TV running with fault. You may have to solder wires to pins, install board & measure that way.

Just a note if doing that you only need to check pin 1 to ground (which is pin 4).

Hmm, I would replace it anyway, but that is unexpected. Someone else on this forum had that chip fail with same fault but different power supply. I wouldn't be as certain as I was before, though. If it doesn't work, it may be one of the feedback resistors is bad. If the input-bias of the IRU has increased, then it could still cause this...

                                Hi Tom,
quick question. so I hav a 32LC7D-UB that didnt power up so I replaced the PSU caps and it turns on now and picture is distorted from cable connecton but HDMI is perfect. Is there a reset I need to do or is this is problem with the main board? I did do a cable scan also. the audio is fine, the picture just looks is if there is no antenna/cable connected securely. Have you seen this before? Hopefully it is a easy fix?
                                Thanks!
                                Joe

Check if the 3.4V output on power board is OK.

Thanks for the quick reply. So I measured the 3.4v on all 3 connectors. 2 of the 3 connectors were at 3.4V and the 3rd connector (P201) measured 2.38Volts. Also, I realized there are 3 caps that I did not replace that were not in the kit for some reason that I bought (2200V-25, 2200uf-10v and 1500uf-35v). these were not swollen but maybe my problem?

Also, I assume HDMI runs good as it is using lower voltage?

Can you show which connectors have 3.4V on them? The 3.4V failing causes a variety of issues: DVB failure (no digital TV or blocky image), HDMI failure, remote control fault, side button fault, audio faults and failing to power on.

Here is the image. The 2.38 volts is found on the connector closest to the edge of the motherboard - connector P201.

That's fine -- it's simply an on/off signal (3.4V ON) which >2V is OK. So you would most likely have a main board problem. I note this TV uses a different PSU to others. Can you post a picture of the main board? This is the board with the HDMI inputs on it... there may also be a 2nd main board with other inputs on it.

I have a 60 inch Samsung UN60EH6000F flatscreen TV. The screen went black a few months ago Sound is good, backlight is good, no menu. I replaced the TCon board with a used board purchased from Ebay. It worked fine for a 3-4 months, then the screen started ‘fading' back. Once again, sound is good, backlight is good, no menu. However, this time the picture looks fine for about 10-15 minutes, then fades back. If I power cycle the TV, the display reappears, for another 10-15 minutes, then fades black again. Repeatable ever time.

I ordered a supposedly ‘new' Tcon board this time, and

Samsung TV model UE50TU: rebooting, backlight, sound, but no picture

                                            Hi, I have a Samsung UE50TU with:
                                            - sound and backlight, but no picture
                                            - when it arrived, it had a picture for a few seconds
                                            - it keeps rebooting
                                            - without ribbon cable between the two panel boards, it does not reboot but I have no picture
                                            - without cable between mainboard and lcd panel, it does not reboot (but obviously i have no picture)
                                            - when i try a tape fix, its keeps rebooting, unless I tape off pin 1 (the innermost pin). In that case it does not reboot but I have no picture.

                                            - without cable between mainboard and lcd panel and with a jumpered...

Toshiba 37AV500A Regza TV good power supply no sound no picture

                                            Hi Everyone,

I'm working on a Toshiba 37AV500A Regza TV.

                                            The issue:
TV was working picture and sound went out. Green stand by light stayed on, It will respond to the power button being pressed (goes in and out of standby)
The TV will very intermittently work for around 40 mins then stop. This doesn't seem to matter if its hot/cold unplugged for a while etc.

I checked the PSU voltages and everything looked good.
No bulging caps or signs of heat.

                                            24v aud = 24.41v
                                            12v = 11.98v
                                            5v = 5.062
                                            p_o/f = Goes high...

                                            Hello everyone,
Ive got a UE60KU6079 on the workbench that is giving me some headaches trying to troubleshoot.
The previous owner stated that there had been white dots on the screen which from the description sounded like some lenses fell of the backlight LEDs.
He had opened the TV from the back, trying to get to the backlight, supposedly gave up, reassebled everything and gave the TV to me.
I expected the worst like ripped COF cables or a cracked panel but could not find anything like that yet.
Anyway I still fully expect that there has been something seriously damaged...

                                            Hi all

I was just given a Samsung TV with the issue. I read various threads and videos and attempted the ribbon tape method to gain an image, but no luck.

                                            Symptom:
                                            No picture no sound.
When I plug in the power cord, Backlight LED turns on for a half second and then turns off. The red LED next to the power button located center bottom flashes 2 or 3 times. When the power button is pressed after, it does the same thing.
                                            No sound at all.

                                            What I tried:
                                            1. I tried unplugging the left or right ribbon...
