Re: LG 32LC7D no sound
Usually on the side of these sets, near the additional video inputs.
Also, in the user menu, check the TV Speaker setting is set to "ON".Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!

Re: LG 32LC7D no sound
OK, on the speaker connectors, can you unplug one speaker and see if you get sound out of one channel (repeat for the other connector.) If you get some sound out with one speaker disconnected, it indicates there is a short in the wire assembly somewhere or the speaker is shorted.
Also, try a factory reset: hold MENU on side button, MENU on remote for 10 seconds. Then select RESET option from menu.
You will need an oscilloscope to do detailed audio circuit tracing to locate where a fault may be.Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!

3.4v- 2.41v
6v-5.98
12v-11.96
19v- 19.0
The only voltage that didn't look right is the 3.4v it was 2.41v could this be a problem?

Re: LG 32LC7D no sound
Yes, easily. It's a common problem on this model. On the bottom of the PSU you will find an 8pin IC marked IRU3037. Actually two of them. Replace both of these. One does 6V and one does 3.4V. I've only ever seen the 3.4V fail but I wouldn't rule out 6V failure. In addition I'd recommend replacing 3.4V & 6V rail caps as they can fail, unlikely to cause this but a good precaution. Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered.
