I had power supply boards from other Samsung TVs and I had an idea, how about using one of those if they match up.
I have found one which had the same exact connectors and all the pins matched up too.
It may have been from a 46A540(530)?!, or a 52A550.
The TV powered up and it worked. I have left it to run over night. In the morning the backlight it was off again, so it's not the power supply.
One thing I'm keep forgetting to do, is to check the screen with a flashlight. Next time. Later on, I will start it up again and I will let you know about this.
Any other ideas, what should I check?Comment
