I need some help I have a friends tv here its a lg 42lg3000

but the tcon available I need to replace with is not the same

this one I have in it that's bad

but searching on ebay brings this one up for the tv vbut the bibbon connectors are to small and screw placement wrong

You need to match the board exactly to what you currently have.

nah not the same mate but the board that was in the tv in the first place I suspect was the wrong one so what im asking is where to get it

You can't be sure, but if the panel number it is made for matches the one on the LCD Panel (e.g. AU Optronics LC42W8XAA) then it should be fine, otherwise you cannot be sure and will have to take a chance.

If you want I shall check to see if I have one that matches yours, it is working, came from a broken panel tv.
Let me know how much you find one for and I shall match there price and postage costs, though may be able to better it if they are costly.

No problem just thought it would be quicker and cheaper for you and it would be a confirmed known working one, not an ebay 'working' board, so they say.
