The inverter backlights circuit needs 24vdc for power, BL_ON command to turn on the backlights, Dim for backlights dimming control. The Dimming can be done two ways, PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) or analog (0-5Vdc). There has to be a pin for that dimming function.
There are labeling next to the Black and white connectors on that Inverter board.

Ok. I see. I will try and test what is going on in the dim circuit. The schematic shows PWM mode and burst mode on pin 14 and it looks like there should be voltage there and there is not. I will update when I test later tonight

      Thanks you.

You are sure that the chip that you have replaced it was properly soldered without any bridges?
Check it with a 20x magnifier.

If it use PWM, the you should see about 200Hz AC signal on the DIM pin of the inverter board connector.

No bridges, and I'm pretty sure it's good. I do have pretty good soldering skills. I used solder paste and a reflow station for this. Went very smooth.

Ok, this one is done at least as far as me repairing the inverters. The wife let my dog into the room and I was testing voltage. Dog jumps, capacitor goes pop and now I have a dead cap. Not sure what else was effected and I'm seriously pissed off at my wife.

I really appreciate you guys trying to help me repair this board. I am sorry that your time was wasted!!

              Thanks
