Got this TV from a buddy.
If you don't use it for a while, you can turn it on, turn volume up or down, change channels, etc...
If you use it every day, you can get it to turn on, and that's about it. And that's after cycling through all the buttons on the side once or twice, it will eventually turn on, but not let you change the channel, input, volume, etc....
Basically, it turns the volume down to 0, and does not let you touch any other controls. I've tried cleaning the buttons none seem to be stuck.
From what I can see there's really only 2 boards, the main input board and the power board, so I'd have to assume it's one of those 2. I checked both for blown caps, no dice. I figured maybe it's the main board due to the weird issues, since power issues usually effect the TV different in my past experiences.
If anyone can shed some light here, that'd really help. Ive also reseated all the boards, disconnected and reconnected everything once just incase, no dice.
