    Lcd Magnavox , ID : 37MF231D/38 DEATH. PLS help

    hello, so long story short is my lcd magnavox did not turn on yesterday
    so i open it again and one of the capacitor was bad ( capXon 1200uf 35v) so in local store they sold me ( nichicon 1000uf 35 v ) so today i change it , but still nothing not even blinking light !!
    But i can hear wierd sound coming from the power board , like hissing ?

    please check the video and if u have any idea what can be the problem let me know . i dont really wanna buy all parts from the board ...

      It's not a great idea to replace a 1200uF with a 1000uF. In addition with one bad cap it's a good idea to replace all of them on the secondary.

      A common issue on these boards is a failed diode on the primary side. Can you post a pictre of your power board?

                  Nichicon VZ are not ideal for power supplies, as they are not low ESR.

                          Diodes 6064, 6056, 6055, 6054 should be checked for shorts.
                          Replace the VZ with Panasonic FM/FR/FC (available from digikey or other good suppliers)

                              hi , so i just replace all three caps with Panasonic caps ,
                              BUT right now i dont have any sound or light nowhere its just death ((
                              any suggestions ???

                                      Hi all , fast question ...
                                      I find out that fuse blow out after changing caps .. So I order new one but the old one says
                                      LF.T5AH250VP The new one says T5A250V is there any difference???

                                      Because I try the new one and still no power and the new fuse did not blow .
                                      Also I check the diodes and did not find bad one yet ..

                                      Any idea about the fuses ?

                                          just tried another fuse and it blowout right away ! a short right ?

                                              Hi. My wife has this problem on her phone.

                                              She can make calls and accept calls but she can't hear the caller and they can't hear her.

                                              The ringtone plays fine so the speaker is working.

                                              However we have discovered that if she answers a call and presses Speaker Phone she can then hear the caller (through the normal earpiece not the speaker) and the caller can hear herl. What is causing this problem?

                                              As its my wife's phone I will have zero credibility if I can't fix it lol

                                              I have an NVA-001 Ps4 Pro with long blue light of death, visual inspection looks fine apart from dust and the very dried thermal paste which I cleaned and replaced, I scoped the board around for any shorts on capacitors and there were none, no blown fuses either. Looking under a thermal camera, southbridge gets warm along with APU and phases for the APU. I cannot tell if RAM is too cold? maybe not powered? but RAM chips are all the same temperatures. At this point I removed NOR and enabled UART to diagnose further. The only thing I get from UART is this following message:

                                              Hello,
                                              The unit is stuck in an intermittent on/off cycle. When I plug in the power cord, the green "On" light activates without any command, flashes for a few seconds, then turns off. The red standby light comes on for a few seconds before the cycle repeats. During this time, I cannot turn off the unit manually; it will shut off automatically after about five minutes, and there is no picture. Occasionally, with repeated attempts to power it on, I eventually get a picture and sound, which function properly. When it does work, I measure several voltages, and they appear to be normal....
